De Riso Sede Storica — Restaurant in Minori

I ordered a gnocchi with grated meat, and although the waitress brought it but a SUPER-SMALL amount of it, in a size of bowl that I would use for breakfast cereal, it was good for an insult perhaps, but by no means a lunch or dinner item, especially not for €14 !!! I looked at it and my eyes almost popped out from their sockets, how tiny amount it truly is for the exorbitant amount of 14 €uros! I had even asked her, pointing at it and asking "THIS AMOUNT OF FOOD for 14 €uros???” and she vehemently bobbed her head while murmuring "yes" with a huge smile. On top of this all, the waitress asked if I wanted water, I told her NO, I want carbonated orange pop, so she brought me a 1,5L bottle of carbonated water... she poured some of it out into a cup. I told her I wanted an orange pop (!!!) so she brought me a Fanta... AND she charged me for the UNWANTED carbonated water (that I never wanted) as well. The WORST service I have received in the last 20 years. Congrats for shaming Italy at this seaside...

Sadly I feel compelled to write a bad review for this place. We ate here on our first night in Minori and with regret it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Weather was poor so it was inside seating only which is understandable. Waiting staff were carrying table and chairs above the heads of people eating their meals and we were sat at the top part of the restaurant amongst what can only be described as a junk pile. The lighting was incredibly bright, it could do with some candles or softer lighting. The caprese salad was fine however it was served on top of a stale bagel???? Very odd. Of the two pasta dishes we had, the amalfi lemon spaghetti whilst not offensive was bland and tasteless with the spaghetti undercooked. We enjoyed the tomato and aubergine pasta however the portion was less than half the size of the lemon pasta. Overall the staff were chaotic and inattentive. I wouldn’t usually leave a review of this nature but it would be sad to see others experience...

We were there yesterday. First impressions were perfect. Service was kind and friendly. Aperolspritz and Lemonchellospritz were refreshing and taste good. Then we ordered grilled squid with mash potatoes and 2 pizza Diavola and Amatriciana. To be honest I don't eat seafood and yesterday I decided to taste squid. It was really delicious but mash potatoes were disgusting. It was mash potatoes with big chunks of potato that didn't peel well with tons of oil. And pizza...to be honest it was embrassing. I am in Italy and I am expecting that there will be delicious pizza. Topings were good but dough was 100% frozen. It makes me really upset...My boyfriend ate all because he was really hungry and I packed my pizza because for 10€ I don't want to throw it in trash...to be honest I am...
