Misha Sushi & Beat — Restaurant in Modena

I agonized somewhat over the rating to give. The thing is -- either it's very good or it's very bad.

-: The prices on the online menu and those actually to pay are different. Although the difference is very contained, I find that really sets the wrong vibe. I was served a prawn that was half green/brown, in a much more widespread area than the back vein (which would have been reasonable IMO). I opted for the safe bet and didn't eat it. I am fine with restaurants serving frozen food as I am a realist (although I am not sure whether that's disclosed, and, as stated, I HIGHLY value transparency), but the first serving of okonomiyaki was still cold on the inside -- and that's not ever ok, but on a slow night it's really quite disheartening. The app to order is difficult to navigate and sometimes unresponsive. You also have to have a mobile, and connect to their wifi.

+: The menu is varied and interesting. The service is fast. The ordering system is intelligent and avoids both food waste and overeating, which I appreciate (though, as stated, the app can be a bit of a headache). The atmosphere was nonexistant, but in a good, discrete way. I know they also do karaoke nights, so that may change substantially. At the end of the meal, they offer you fortune cookies and/or coffee/digestives, and their alcohol selection is rich and curious.

Overall, would probably visit again, but...

Dopo aver visto il video di @spot_modena che promuoveva questo nuovo giapponese, abbiamo prenotato una cena per tre persone il mercoledì.

La posizione, a due passi dal cinema Victoria, é strategica, con ampio parcheggio e altre attrazioni vicine.

Il locale é molto bello, ha un design elegante e dispone di abbastanza coperti, ma consiglio la prenotazione. Al primo piano c’è la saletta karaoke per trascorrere una serata diversa con gli amici.

Sul servizio devo dire che all’inizio gli ordini arrivavano molto lentamente, poi verso la fine ci siamo trovati con il tavolo sommerso. Come in tutti gli ayce che ho frequentato, sono arrivati piatti di altri tavoli e alcuni dei nostri non si sono visti. Pace.

Si ordina dal loro sito tramite smartphone e il menu é vastissimo, con proposte che non avevo mai assaggiato e che mi hanno colpito, come i loro coni o alcune soluzioni al tartufo. Suggerisco di assegnare un nickname ad ogni cliente e di classificare i piatti ordinati, altrimenti si fa confusione. Noi ci dimenticavamo in fretta chi aveva ordinato cosa.

Invece la qualità é stata altalenante. Per esempio, il sashimi smoked era un pezzo di gomma, mentre il sashimi classico era perfetto. Non mi hanno convinto i fritti, mentre i roll hanno delle combinazioni interessanti.

Il prezzo totale per tre persone, menu ayce con due bottiglie d’acqua, é stato di 95€, quindi nella media. Ci hanno dato anche una “vip card” per avere uno sconto del 10% la prossima volta, che ci sarà...

Would definitely recommend this place. All you can wat for a really fair price. I discovered a lot of new flavors of sushi. What surprised me and liked the most was the one with strawberries. I like the fact that you can order from your phone and you can see what other people from the table added in the basket. The atmosphere is very unique and has a luxurious vibe to it.
