Perfect place for drink and local food!

The location is amazing—right in the heart of the city! You can choose a table on the lively sreet or enjoy a more relaxed vibe on the quieter side street. I visited this place twice — once just for a drink, and a second time for a drink and a cheese appetizer. The service was extremely kind and hospitable. I'm very grateful that, as a solo guest, I wasn’t treated as a second-class customer, which unfortunately happened at other places. Walked by this place several times thru our stay in Monopoli so decided to try it out. I ordered a capicollo sandwich and it was very disappointing. The meat wasn’t as tender as the capicollo I normally eat. It was plentiful but very very chewy. I had to pull it out of my sandwich so that I could eat the bread and cheese that remained. My friend ordered a vegetarian sandwich and didn’t enjoy hers either. It was overly creamy between the cheese and the sauce and the sun dried tomatoes weren’t cut making the sandwich difficult to...

Siamo nel centro storico di Monopoli, già questo fa acquistare tanti punti ad ogni locale, siamo nel bel mezzo di una delle stradine più trafficate dai pedoni, vicino a locali molto chic e costosi, trovi questa sorta di salumeria con dei tavolini nel vicoletto di fianco. Dentro è veramente piccolo e con un banco salumeria, all'esterno verrete accolti dalla proprietaria che vi tratterà come se foste una persona di famiglia, infatti una volta accomodati si siederà vicino a voi per capire insieme cosa ordinare. Noi siamo partiti con l'antipasto di bruachette, davvero ottime, poi ci siamo fatti consigliare da lei le pucce, in base ai nostri gusti.

Questo è uno street food con possibilità di potersi sedere per mangiare comodi, non va valutato il servizio, i tempi ecc. Bisogna valutare solo l'esperienza che vivrai e la bontà dei prodotti. La signora è simpaticissima, sono tutti a completa disposizione e sopratutto nessuna fretta di liberare il tavolo una volta finito di mangiare.
