We've been traveling in Italy for one month and this is definitely the worst meal we ate.
The pasta alla norma (which we ate and loved in several restaurant in Sicily) was terrible and tasted like ketchup, and the black pasta with lemo had a really bad taste. Even the tap water (1.5 euros) had a bad aftertaste.
We each ate one bite of each dish and couldn't eat more. We told the waitress that we're sorry but we didn't like the food. She didn't seem to care, we paid 25 euros and went away without eating. The attached photo is of the dishes after we finished eating...
The place looked really cute and had a great atmosphere, and the waitress was friendly (maybe it's not common in Italy to mention it if we didn't enjoy the food), but the food was so bad that I could not give it an extra...

The location is super nice both inside and outside and nonetheless super clean! The staff is super kind, I loved it!

I will definitely come back everytime we're back here and invite more and more people to try it,...

They use Busiate which is a Sicilian type of pasta that looks like a wide spring. And it works so well with all pesto/puree-like things, as it all stays on pasta pieces. The pasta was heavy and filling so you can be happy just with one dish here. They recommended some local wines, and all of them tasted great. Stuff doesn't speak English much, but you still can get an English menu and order...
