Pizzeria New Sporting di Alberto Di Michele — Restaurant in Montesilvano

Pizza is not authentic Napoli-style, so if that is what you look for, or expect from this awarded pizzeria, this is not the right place for you. The dough is light, toppings are paired with harmony and balance, but it is baked in an electric oven, “cornicione” Is crusty and too dry. Altogether, I find that the pizza is not worth the high price , far above the standards of the area ( btw, I had a better gourmet pizza and experience for less in the centre of Venice) . Tiramisu was very creamy and I found it an interesting variation to the original recipe. Service is disappointing: nobody answers the phone in the afternoon, so forget any change to your reservation. We were 12 people ( 6 adults +6 kids) and because the oven only fits 4 pizzas at a time they proposed us to first serve the kids and then the adults, to which we agreed. After our kids received 4 pizzas and other food, we ended up waiting 40minutes to get the other 4 pizzas to share, while we watched pizzas being served to many tables all around us. stabilimento! Avevamo per l'intera stagione estiva 2023 la palma insieme ad altre persone in questo stabilimento (4° fila dal mare).

Lo stabilimento ha varie pecche gravi:

Innanzitutto spiego la più grave. Se un cliente disabile in sedia a rotelle vuole accedere alle palme (tra l'altro vicino alla passerella) NON PUÒ. Capisco che non sia inizialmente attrezzata, ma dopo RIPETUTE RICHIESTE GENTILI di allungare la passerella in qualsiasi modo, anche rudimentale, (si trattava di un breve tratto data la vicinanza della palma alla passerella), il proprietario non si è mosso in alcun modo. (e abbiamo fatto numerooose pressioni, nulla)

Inoltre: le pizzette piccole fatte per i clienti dello stabilimento costano troppo (prezzo esorbitante) rispetto alla qualità (non mi sembra normale pagare una pizza di diametro anche più piccolo rispetto alla concorrenza, con alici e pomodoro €2.80).

alle 10 non trovi i cornetti (perlomeno l'anno scorso, ora non so)

poca fornitura e poca scelta di cose da mangiare

le "palme" sono grandi quanto le PALMETTE DI HAI BIN. E dico tutto.

c'è gente maleducata e famiglie maleducatissime sotto le palme che quando arriva una persona nuova (esterna alle loro conoscenze) ne sparlano, anche ad alta voce, e senza alcun diritto di mettere parola sulle palme affittate altrui, pretendendo di ottenere tali palme (per fare l'upgrade dal loro ombrellone a stagione già inoltrata, pensando che corrisponda ad una scalata sociale, PER ALTRO A MONTESILVANO, manco a Miami, assurdo) MAI VISTA UNA COSA DEL GENERE

Tutto ciò spero che costituisca una critica costruttiva per migliorare.

A local recommend me this pizzeria and it was truly worth it going there. The pizze are authentic Italian style and definitely not what you mostly get in an Italian restaurant outside Italy, and I mean it in a very positive way. They are fingerlickin' delicious!
