Best dining experience ever in every aspect!!

Much love to the server for his friendly demeanor and stellar culinary knowledge! We let him pick our wines, and were very impressed with his choices

We had the Beef Brisket, Octopus Carpaccio and the Fish Soup:

Brisket: super tender and the Friarielli nice smoked paprika/smoked flavour, walnuts added a little bitter note to balance the dish [Super good]

Octopus Carpaccio: lentils were creamy yet with a pop! Fennel was light in taste, clearly just to add in texture. Octopus was mostly there for texture because the taste came from the Olive oil and the other components [Explosion of flavour, just a miniscule but too salty]

Fish Soup: Best dish by far!!!! All the (shell)fish were chewy, tender and cooked to perfection. The broth was just perfect..! By pouring it tableside the other components on the dish still fully retained their individual flavour. The broth was sweet, salty and smokey [Pure perfection]

Price is super decent, a specially for what you get in return.

This place is an absolute must if you are visiting Naples, it won't...

If you’re looking for a truly unique dining experience in Naples, Azzuppa is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the city, this quirky little gem offers a refreshing break from the traditional Neapolitan cuisine while still capturing the essence of Italy’s rich culinary heritage. The decor is eclectic and full of personality, with its vintage finds, and playful, whimsical touches that make the space feel both intimate and fun. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought out. The background music selection was also spot on! Azzuppa specialises in low-temperature cooking, and they take this technique to incredible heights. The menu is an exciting fusion of creativity and tradition, featuring dishes that are anything but ordinary. The staff here are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. A hidden gem that offers something different from the usual fare—innovative, comforting, and bold flavours in a cozy, quirky setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh twist on...

Wow... Just wow... After a seeing all the high reviews and even a recommendation from a local I was quite excited to try this place. I wanted to try something off the beaten path for once and give a less raved about restaurant a go (yet was full of tourists regardless). Menu is untraditional, and I was sceptical and my scepticism was correct. This was by far one of the worst meals I have ever eatened.

Fish soup, random bland frozen seafood off cuts in a bowl with some nuts, potatos and bread. Then some mildly warm water poured over? Result a cold soggy bland bowl of scraps, absolutly disgraceful for €19 euro.

Carbonara, meh nothing special and bland. No pepper? Meat mostly just fat and lacking any real flavour.

Smoked blue fish in jelly, was ok I see what you're trying to do but just not good, bland and no smoke flavour to the fish whatsoever.

All in all for a €60 meal (by no means cheap) the food was awful, whilst the atmosphere and service were both good. The food was beyond saving, and I am extremely disappointed in...

Alright, listen up, this place is the real deal. I'm not one for fancy words, but AZZUPPA Restaurant blew me away. The food was incredible, seriously some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The ragu was so rich and flavorful. It was like a party in my mouth. The carbonara was creamy and perfectly al dente, and the pork belly was crispy and juicy. And don't even get me started on the apple dessert. It was a sweet and tangy explosion in my mouth. The atmosphere was also great. It was cosy and inviting, with a great staff that made me feel right at home. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian dining experience, AZZUPPA Restaurant is the place to go. P.S. And let's not forget the decor! The place is super cool, with a really unique vibe. I especially loved the David Bowie pictures in the bathroom. It's the little details that make a place special, and AZZUPPA Restaurant definitely has them.

Located not too far from plaza Dante this small restaurant had some interesting food on their TA and good website so decid d to try . It is indeed a very small restaurant with 7 tables- 5tables of 2seats, 1 table of 3 seats and one table of 4 seats Tables are small so when sharing plates of 2, there is no space on the table. The 2 starters of squid in pea puree and hazelnut had notes of satay sauce and was Good. The aubergine pamagiana was good but had too much cheese on the top! The mains of catch of the day fish was average- the black crust layer was good. The blue water fish smoked with tomatoes sauce and cream cheese was ok. The wine by glass was good. Service was ok. Took forever to get the bill!

A wonderful space- not pretentious tucked in near Piazza Bellini/ Dante part of town. We were staying nearby and had eaten more than enough Pizza & Baba so this was an oasis of calm well considered food and service. The small footprint has mostly tables for 2 x 9 in 2 areas. Retro cool vibe with great old movies running on an old TV that pique interest. Lovely wines & wonderful flavor combinations- we had Falanghina frizzante, beef cheeks, pulled pork/ coleslaw lasagna which were highly memorable, I loved the bread, presented in a cotton drawstring bag. Desert was custard, apples with crumble that was perfectly toasted. This was all next level. We will be back again next year- Grazie infinite..
