Coming from a hospitality background, the situation I experienced at Jus tonight hadn’t happened to me in a while as I usually do a bit of ocd reserach before going to a new place, whether its food, wine or coffee.
I was looking at having just a glass and a bite before dinner and tried to chat to the team about some wines they had on the shelves, which I usually do when trying a new place, but they didn’t seem very interested in chatting at all. The guy serving us knew little about wine and barely knew how to pour a glass properly. It was initially just myself and my friend in the bar but soon any little attention that we had was lost by 2 customers who were obviously friends with the owner. They were having a full dinner and got major explanations of the wines and food they were going to order (guys from the kitchen were coming out showing them the catch of the day they would later cook for them) - and we were just not attended properly and it was just very obvious the whole team was focusing on these 2 guys who had just walked in.
I am not sure if this was a one off situation but with so many average natural wine bars popping in Europe, I find it hard to go through yet again just a pretentious mediocre service at this type of place.
The speciality coffee and natural wine scene is barely inexistent in Naples and based on the experience at Jus, I’d say stick to...
Read moreI visited this wine bar with my best friend while on a weekend trip to Naples. We love natural wines so we came here with high expectations and they were all met! We drank a bottle of an amazing local orange wine and we had very delicious food (we were lucky because there was a pop up event with a New York chef serving persian cuisine). The staff was friendly and eager to help us with choosing wine, calling us a taxi, giving us advice about the city, etc. The place is very warm and friendly and you immediately feel the good vibes, like all the customers are one big table. This is by far one of the best bars I have ever been to and we thank so much the owner, the staff and the chefs for the amazing...

C'è qualche tavolo all'aperto, prezzi medio-alti, garage a pagamento ...
