Esperienza pessima, maleducazione assurda e servizio frettoloso!

Ho prenotato un tavolo per quattro persone alle 13:15. Siamo arrivate io e la mia amica alle 13:30, mentre i nostri fidanzati stavano cercando parcheggio. Appena arrivate, abbiamo comunicato la nostra prenotazione al ragazzo all’ingresso, specificando che la prenotazione fosse un quarto d’ora prima e che gli altri due ragazzi stessero parcheggiando. Lui ci ha fatto accomodare di sua spontanea volontà, senza porre alcun problema circa il fatto di essere arrivate 15 min di ritardo e senza nulla dire circa il fatto che non fossimo al completo. Peccato che una volta accomodate nei successivi 10 minuti sia venuto ben tre volte a sollecitarci in modo insistente di chiamare i nostri fidanzati e di cominciare ad ordinare nonostante loro ancora non ci fossero. Il culmine è stato raggiunto la terza volta, quando con un atteggiamento decisamente scortese, alzando la voce nei nostri confronti, ci ha accusate di aver detto che il parcheggio avrebbe richiesto solo 5 minuti (mai detto poiché non ci è stato nulla chiesto al riguardo!), aggiungendo che se non avessimo ordinato nonostante non fossimo al completo ci avrebbe fatto alzare per dato il tavolo ad altri (come ha fatto con un tavolo affianco a noi). Per fortuna subito dopo questo episodio sono entrati i nostri fidanzati e abbiamo immediatamente ordinato. Abbiamo raccontato loro l’accaduto, e poco dopo il ragazzo è tornato al nostro tavolo per scusarsi dell’atteggiamento scortese di poco prima, ed io ho colto l’occasione per esprimere il mio punto di vista: se, dato il nostro ritardo, il ristorante avesse voluto riassegnare il tavolo, avrebbe avuto tutto il diritto di farlo, così come avrebbe avuto il diritto di dirci che non potevamo accomodarci finché non fossimo stati tutti. Ma nel momento in cui, di sua iniziativa, ci ha fatto sedere pur sapendo che due persone stavano ancora cercando parcheggio in una zona notoriamente complicata (di domenica ad ora di pranzo tra l’altro!) non aveva alcun diritto di metterci fretta o, peggio, di rivolgersi in modo così maleducato. Trovo inaccettabile un comportamento del genere: se avevano problemi di gestione dei tavoli o tempi stretti, avrebbero potuto comunicarcelo in modo educato fin dall’inizio, ed avremmo sicuramente deciso di andare altrove. Ma essere trattate con scortesia e pressioni continue è stato davvero spiacevole. Superato questo episodio, il pranzo è stato poi caratterizzato da una fretta esagerata. In appena 40 minuti abbiamo consumato antipasti, primi e dolci. I camerieri, pur essendo gentili, erano chiaramente istruiti a farci ordinare subito le portate successive e a servirle in tempi rapidissimi. In conclusione, personale di sala gentile ma condizionato da una gestione che punta solo alla velocità e al massimo profitto. Esperienza stressante e per nulla piacevole....

Having lived in London I'm used to certain level of service which I didn't get here. However, food was incredibly good. On my way out, the chef Giovanni asked me how I found my food which was a nice touch given that I didn't get the best service till then. Having said that, food was incredibly good. The show they make with the fire and the cheese is very entertaining. This place is in one of the best areas of Naples, but as a tourist I found it very affordable. One can only wonder how locals find it. By the way, the manager also checked on my when I was leaving the premises, I just think that the servers have a lot to improve, but I repeat myself, I'm used to certain service in London and they probably just gave me the best experience they...
