Excellent value for money and decent portions at this restaurant. The pizza is amazing, probably the best we've had in Sardinia so far. It was nice and crispy at the bottom which was even more impressive since we ordered a pizza that was heavy on toppings. The gnochetti with sausage bits was delicious - could have used just slightly more cooking (and I like it al dente) and maybe a little more meat, but still overall great. My husband has the veal cutlet (coteletta) and though it was good, a 2nd slice would be necessary for it to be a whole meal since it's on the thinner side. It was good in taste, as were the fries. Finally, the wine (red) was Delicious and affordable (6.5 euros a liter), would recommend it. All and all, it was a great tasting meal and quite affordable compared to other places. The server was kind but speaks only Italian, so I'd suggest you bring google translate along with you or practice your italian, she does try to make you understand if you make an effort. We liked it so much we went back the next day, had 2 pizzas to share (the biancaneve and the spicy salami), both we're very good. My husband had the spaghetti vongole, the sauce was nice tasting, but we found the portion small for the price. There were maybe 7-8 clams, including 1 closed that they shouldn't have plated, but also the spaghetti, which is not expensive to add to the plate to make it a better portion. In sum, everything was good but if we were to go back a 3rd time, we would stick to their pizza, which is delicious and their red wine (we tried the white which was good, but inferior to the red in our opinion). The outside area is very quaint with plants around, the inside has AC. They're also open Sundays, which is great as not all restos in the area are. Pretty easy street parking...
Read moreAbsolute gem of a find! We were so blown away by the flavours and freshness of the food - expect typical Sardinia grandmaâs cooking. We had the clams pasta, and as I adore spice, we asked for chilli oil, which was not hot enough for me so we were kindly provided peperoncino powder with the right kick, so grateful! The seafood risotto was plentiful and delicious too. The antipasto de mare came in as several different plates of seafood items (crab, mussels, etc), and I particularly enjoyed the mussels which was so fresh and flavoured lightly and to point. We were offered some mirto on the house and left with our hearts and bellies full! The desserts were nice, we tried the seada and crème brĂťlĂŠe. We had a lot of food and ended up spending âŹ60 for two people. So glad to be able to support this incredible family run...
Read moreBeautiful authentic Sardinian pizzeria run by a local family for nearly 40 years. Very welcoming and accommodating and genuine lovely people! Special thanks to Lorenzo for his attentive and professional service!
The interior is beautifully decorated in the traditional country Sardinian style, with natural wood finishes and some very pretty frescos.
Pizzas were great. We were very hungry so tried the tasty montanara fried pizzette, two traditional pizzas and the nutella doughballs. Can recommend all of these.
Tasty local house red wine at an unbeatable price!
Clearly a local favourite, extremely good value for money (in an region where this is not so common!).
Skip the touristy pizzerias in the centre of Olbia and come here instead. You won't be...
