I donât even now where to start with this experience⌠We previously saw in some reviews that the service is not the best, but we still decided to give it a try and I regret it so much. The service is horrible. They are so slow, the didnât bring us knives, they brought one bread and the other they forgot⌠We ordered zucchini with dry tomatoes on the stracciatella (asking to put the cheese aside) and they forgot to put dry tomatoes. When we said it, they added dry tomatoes and the plate that arrived i think didnât even have one entire dry tomato chopped. (This plate costs 9e). Second thing that we ordered was a tagliere with meat and cheese- they forgot to put the cheeseâŚ. Finally, the coperto you pay per person is 3e (that usually includes bread and service)- i asked for gluten free bread and they charged additional 2,5e. This is the cost of this schar bread in the supermarket. All in all, i really donât recommend going to this place, even the super touristic...
Read moreWe came across this small restaurant and we decided to try. They have a lovely terrace but thats the highlight of the restaurant. Service was slow and blunt. Two group of people left because of slow service and limited menu. We chose two tagliatas and a caprese. They arrived all together after 40â, the caprese salad was 5-6 cherry tomatoes split in had and a sliced mozzarella in the middle. Very small and not well prepared plate. The tagliatas came lukewarm and cut in pieces !!!! They were cut in small pieces and mixed with the toppings. I have never seen a tagliata served like this and I didnât enjoy it at all. It was average in taste but the presentation was not good. When I left I saw that the restaurant/bistrot doesnt have a proper kitchen/ grill so that explains the sliced in pieces tagliata. Overall, very basic food experience and definitely not worth the current...
Read moreI gave Al Cortiletto a 5 star rating for the obvious reason that it deserves it. I've eaten in the cosy and romantic interior as well as the rooftop during Summer, the atmosphere is fabulous, the rooftop is a wonderful way to dine "al fresco". The food is beyond wonderful, it is truly put together with love and yes, you can see it AND taste it check out the picture I've attached. The service is both professional and friendly, and to me that's the best combination. I've also been fortunate to eat at Al Cortiletto several times, so besides the above mentioned qualities I feel qualified to mention their consistency. There's never been a time or a dish that wasn't exceptional, it should be on your list of restaurants whether you are visiting Ostuni ooo if you've moved here as I recently did. Buon...
