This was my most favorite seafood meal ever. I’ve never eaten so well, ever!! Everything was made to perfection and so, so delicious. The owner is the chef and the waiter and he’s super talented and efficient and wonderful. He does it all and doesn’t take on more than he can handle. Everything is done precisely with attention to detail, and the atmosphere has a clean, chill, relaxed vibe. Could not have been more fabulous. We stumbled upon this unassuming trattoria just beyond the city walls, its empty dining room initially gave us pause. Yet hunger and the late hour compelled us to stay. What fortune.

We ordered the Tagliolini al nero di seppia and the Chitarrine alle vongole. Both dishes featured fresh pasta that clung to their respective sauces, each a liquid ode to the sea and generous portions of seafood (the vongole came heaped with nearly thirty clams).

All'arrivo un uomo ci comunica di essere da solo e che, pertanto, poteva prepararci solamente un menù da 18€ a persona (esclusi acqua e coperto). Menù di pesce consistente in: una pasta all'uovo con vongole e pomodorini (pomodorini mancanti in una porzione, vongole con sabbia, sapore mediocre); gamberoni e verdure grigliate (nelle foto 5 gamberoni, nei piatti serviti 3 gamberoni e in uno dei piatti, 2 gamberoni; gamberoni insapore e dall'aspetto rivoltante; verdure messe casualmente nel piatto, in un piatto mancavano melanzane e peperoni, presenti negli altri piatti; il menù decantava verdure grigliate, sono stati serviti melanzane e peperoni grigliati, con melanzane sott'olio e insalata mista in busta); compreso nel menù anche un calice di vino, eventualmente sostituibile con coca cola senza variazione di prezzo. Sapori assolutamente mediocri, a tratti cattivi o insapore. Al conto sono stati aggiunti 7€ di coperto, per 3 persone, e 2€ per una bottiglia d'acqua naturale. Disponibilità di dessert/liquori, ovviamente fuori menù, quindi aggiunti al conto: limoncello, sorbetto e tiramisù confezionato. Alla richiesta di un caffè ci si sente rispondere: "sono da solo, non ce la faccio, il caffè lo prendete al centro storico."
