We stayed in Palermo in September this year. Our host recommended Bar Marocco. After we tried it once, we went there nearly every morning of our stay. The food tastes so good. They had several vegetarian options, and I really loved the pastry with cheese and spinach. The Cappuccino is amazing. The best I had in Palermo. You should also try the pistachio- drink (forgot the proper English name). It tastes unbelievable. Also, the staff is so kind and helpful. Because we couldn't speak Italian, the waiters always took us inside and explained the several food options. We really recommend this place. It is a must if you are in Palermo. You can also see the big cathedral while having your breakfast. You should go there about 9-9:30, because later it is getting really crowded and you have to stay close to...

Bar Marocco is legendary. Out of our 4 days in Palermo, we were not prepared for this place to be the most memorable. We were recommended to go here by our Air Bnb host and we went all but 1 morning for a cappuccino, granita and brioche. We had breakfast elsewhere once when the line was full and there was instant regret when we tasted the granita further down the street. The view here is perfect, the service… PERFECT. And don’t get me started on the food. If there’s a line, just wait! Big ups for Marocco. Wish our Italian was good enough to relay how big of a fan we were to our excellent server. The orange granita will rest in my dreams until the next...

We ordered Aperol Spritz, and recieved something that resembled it but not in flavour. Probably made with Campari. When questioned the waiter said it was definitely Aperol..we have been drinking Aperol for many years and know the difference. Other tables of locals were receiving the salty snack with there spritz but we had to finally ask for ours. Salty snack should always be served with Aperol. Seems like they were trying to rip off tourists. There are so many wonderful establishments that are friendly and welcoming, why would anyone choose this place? Go...

This little spot surprised me, I was ready to overpay and eat poorly for the view which is incredible and would be worth it but here the prices are not so high and the food is good! I enjoyed the cornetto and cappuccino both great with freshly squeezed orange juice it made a wonderful breakfast with a glorious view. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful despite my little Italian. The location is fantastic and being able to hear the bells ringing whilst eating breakfast made for an unforgettable morning. Recommended.
