Wonderful experience!
The courtyard has few tables, so it feels very secluded. It is arranged and decorated in a very lovely way, there’s such a cosy atmosphere…absolutely perfect!
We were helped by Roberto, a very kind and polite waiter who explained the dishes. We shared a (huge) tagliere that was absolutely delicious… there was everything : hot options like the sfincione from Bagheria and a delicious vegetables mini-cake, but also cold options like a very special selection (and quality) of Sicilian charcuterie and cheeses with confit/honey/chutney and caponata of two kinds, olives, pistachios, mushrooms, bread….all was absolutely delicious!
We also enjoyed their limoncello sprits, made with their own made limoncello (that is available to be bought -as for everything else-) and some wine -again, only from Sicily-.
We also tried some of their delicious desserts and Roberto gave us a taste of an unbelievably good Passito di Pantelleria.
It is a real, little secret gem in Palermo that you don’t want to miss. Highly recommended!
(If I can leave a constructive feedback, the only thing that I think it could be improved is the music in the background…rather than pop music hits, I would have preferred something more “cosy” and less upbeat…but still, I enjoyed the experience 100% and I will highly recommend to pay a visit here to everyone)
Amazing place, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. 5 stars...

As a woman of colour, I have travelled solo all across the world to almost 100 countries and never experienced such blatant racism as I did in this place. I am still in shock and anger!
From the moment I walked in the staff kept following me and being weird, not being as helpful as they were to other customers offering tasters and support on items to buy, watching my every move and just being very rude.
Regardless, I ignored it and went to purchase quite a few things to give as gifts- as I was leaving I get stopped and searched by several staff members but not one single other person was asked to open their bags or stop for this “random control search”. The staff could see I purchased many things and even had the bag and receipt in my hand as I was leaving but still insisted to stop me.
I told them exactly how rude and unacceptable I found their behaviour and they didn’t have anything to say in return.
Never thought I’d experience such blatant profiling as I did in this shop and I’m so angry/disappointed as I was hoping to come back and buy some more gifts for family and friends- I’m even more mad I spent a lot of money on buying stuff from this unprofessional place!!
What outrageous and small minded group of people. Very very disappointed and definitely made me rethink whether I will returning to Sicily again and feeling bit off now to...
Read moreReally cute local products store, definitely for tourists, but that doesn't detract from it's excellence. There's also a small back garden, with delicious food and drinks. There's a deli counter too - a great place to get a sandwich made for your day trips.
Food is mostly centered around salads, bread, cured meats and cheeses from different regional suppliers. They will encourage you to get the large platter and you'll think you can't finish, but you will, albeit stuffed and needing a nap. I loved their watermelon salad, and also the large cold cuts and cheese platter, which is a sampler of everything they carry.
In terms of products, I highly recommend their lemon/orange sour hard candies and the pistachio butters.
The staff is extraordinarily friendly and informative!
