Caffetteria Touché — Restaurant in Palermo

Excellent service! We happened upon this place after a long day travelling and while walking to the food market. We were hungry and thirsty. We are from New Zealand and have been in Italy two weeks and whilst our Italian is extremely limited we always try and order in Italian and never ever expect English. The man who served us immediately picked up we were obviously foreigners and offered us an Aperitivo. In English. It wasn’t just that he spoke English it was that he anticipated what we needed and made it so easy for us to make a choice when we were too weary. He made us his latest signature cocktail (yum) and our platter was the biggest and most delicious we have had since we got to Italy. We felt restored and nurtured and we will definitely be back. Sabato pomeriggio in pieno inverno mi reco in questa bar/caffetteria vicinissima a Mondello per la formula Tisana e/o Cioccolata (possibita' di sceltra tra gianduia, pistacchio, latte, arancia e cannella... infinite!) e tagliere di dolci che comprendeva biscotti di vari tipo e torte tutte fresche. Per la modica cifra di €5,00 Ambiente tranquillo, accogliente e personale super disponibile. 5 stelle per la novità di questo aperitivo alternativo che in città mancava! Possibilità di parcheggiare fuori dal bar in maniera tranquilla data l'ampio spazio di sosta. Un consiglio: andrebbe migliorato il bagno (non abbiamo trovato la carta igienica) Alla fine ci hanno regalato un portachiavi colorato ad ognuno...

Pro: Aperithe, con formula a tagliere molto abbondante davvero ad un prezzo bomba 3,50€ con scelta tra cioccolata, the, caffe,... (vedi foto) Personale, disponibile.

Nella media: Location anonima Servizio, attesa nella norma. Bontà delle portate. Tutto molto mediocre, sia dai biscotti alle fette di torta o crostate. Stucchevole. Cioccolata chiaramente preconfezionata.

Contro: Scontrino non rilasciato.
