The staff is very friendly and caring and they go out of their way to make sure you have a good time here. They make you feel right at home. Everything has charme and feels alive and fun. Yes, the music might sometimes be a little loud, yes, it's not the most beautiful location. But it's awesome, the food is amazing (they strongly recommend the seafood, but since I do not eat seafood, I got the pasta cacio e pepe and it was the best pasta I've ever had.) We’d been in Rome the last 4 days having mediocre food at best (even from places with reviews like “best pasta of my life” 🧐. So expectations were fairly low coming to Da Nino. But wow, were we pleasantly surprised. We had the frito mixto, seafood pasta, cacio e pepe, and a big chicken toast. Everything was so good. Well seasoned, great flavor, fresh seafood. There is something magical going on in the kitchen at Da Nino. I was hungry far too early and was lucky to find this unassuming spot for a bruschetta pomodoro (glass of house white wine) and pasta norma (paired amazingly with house vino rosso - cattagrillo I think). Suitable for ovo-lacto vegetarian and thankfully black pepper free (I'm intolerant). Choose a table further from the traffic for better ambiance but still good people watching.
