Il Culinario is a hidden gem that truly stands out in the local dining scene. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.

The menu at Il Culinario is a testament to the chef's dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, showcasing the best of seasonal produce and locally-sourced meats and seafood. The flavours are bold yet balanced, with every bite offering a delightful explosion of taste and texture.

One standout dish was the fresh sea bass fish, which practically melted in my mouthand prepared to perfection.

What truly sets Il Culinario apart, however, is their exceptional service. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The waiter helped getting the right food with my lactose intolerance isseue with patience, enhancing our dining experience immeasurably. The service was impeccable without being stuffy, striking just the right balance between professionalism and warmth.

In conclusion, Il Culinario offers a dining experience that is truly exceptional in every aspect. From the mouthwatering cuisine to the stellar service and inviting atmosphere, this restaurant has it all. It's no wonder that reservations are becoming increasingly hard to secure – Il Culinario is undoubtedly a rising star in the local culinary scene. Whether you're a foodie looking for your next great meal or simply in search of a memorable dining experience, Il Culinario is not...

I don’t like to write reviews but we just finished eating there and tbh super disappointed, don’t be fooled by the other reviews. Our table was right next to the service station where the waiters prepare for tables, actually our table was even touching it, so imagine the atmosphere. We sat down and after at least 15 mins we had to ask the waiter to order and then things started to get worse. 1, the waiter forgot the beer we ordered 2, we didn’t get the bread they were serving each table which we paid for 3, we waited like 45 mins but the food still wasn’t served even though we asked multiple time and were told it’s coming but another two tables came after us already got their food and one table even finished eating 4, two tables next to us, got their starters but never got the main courses. They were also very unhappy 5, finally the food arrived but there was no spoon though I ordered pasta so we had to ask for it 6, after eating we wanted to pay by card and were told we had to go inside to pay even though 10 mins ago I saw some tables paid by card while sitting on their tables 7, after paying, the woman didn’t want to give me the copy from the POS machine. I told her that I wanted the copy and she said ‘why so?’ Well, it’s my right and I want to have it, maybe someone can tell me why she didn’t want to give to me As you see, horrible experience for a 19 € pasta with 3 small shrimps (the one with the red shrimps) that was even not that delicious and 12.5 € pizza which we even didn’t finish it. There were also no salt, pepper or olive oil like were served on other tables. So I f you can,...

Highly overrated and waiters were more interested in smoking and drinking than paying attention. The two seafood pasta dishes we ordered were lacking taste and very al dente, which normally is fine but when the pasta is very thick to start with, it's not the best texture. Our waiter then got the order wrong and brought out some other pasta which was no problem as we were happy to share the first pasta dish whilst waiting for the next. When it came to pay, had I not double checked the bill I would have paid for both the pasta we returned and the pastas we ordered. To end on a bad note, before knowing the extra pasta dish wasn't removed from the bill we left about 5 euros tip in cash in the reciept wallet which the waiter quickly took whilst figuring out what caused the issue with the bill. When he returned, the tip we left was no longer in the wallet which we would habe preferred to not leave given the inconvenience and incompetence of our waiter. Really really bad experience for what we expected to be a great ending...

As seven stars Google Reviewer, I give overall rating 4 stats, mainly driven by very nice and responsive service by the staff and nice ambience of the restaurant in open space area. I know it is difficult to maintain sustainable quality everyday, but despite good looking paccheri mediterania (it has bad smell / odour probably from the mussels) that I really cannot eat or finish it (only 1 star for this), but the staff immediately asked me and five me another food, I think black quid ink ravioli which taste good (4 stars for this), caponata just OK. Hence overall food I give 3 stars mainly because recovered by the staff with a new plates. I know probably just a one night incident and I was not lucky, but rhe Chef should be able to smell a bad odor food, or bad smell ingredients, so in this case I criticise the Chef of those responsible for the quality check in the kitchen. I hope you serve a better seafood quality, if I visit Palermo again the future.

I don’t usually write negative reviews but feel it necessary tonight, our last night in Palermo. Disappointing to say the least. The food was quite good but the service very poor. We ordered 2 appetisers and a primi to share. Our friends ordered secondi. Their secondi arrived with our pasta before our appetiser. No appetiser was served for 30 minutes, meanwhile our friends finished their main course. No apology. After our friends had finished their main meal our appetiser arrived, then there was a long wait for our pasta. All the while our friends watched us eat. A very unnecessarily disjointed meal. The manager? blamed his staff but it was he who took the order. Unfortunately no apology, in fact they couldn’t care less😡
