Definitely worth the walk away from the crowds of the main strip. The couscous is superb ... the texture was so addictive. Haven't had couscous like that since I was in Morocco (which is kinda what I was after because of Palermo's proximity to North Africa) Serving sizes are super generous. I wanted some veggies for the fibre. Had not spotted that the fish couscous I was recommended ALSO comes with a large fish soup. I felt terrible but I could not finish... I hate sending food back but they were so generous! My meal would probably have been perfect for a couple to share!

Service was attentive and friendly. I can't really give 5* for atmosphere only because the place was deserted apart from me. So go yourself please and give the place the love it deserves!

I spent 23 euro on the food displayed. As I say . a meal that could feed two so I selected accordingly on the...

We came here to try the infamous Sicilian cous cous, and it exceeded our expectations! It was as light as a soft sponge cake, the fish soup was savoury and fresh, the quality of the fish was excellent. My friend had the Spada grilliata ( grilled sword fish) it was so meaty, loved the smokiness of the grill, topped with a sprinkle of sea salt, a generous splash of nutty olive oil and a squeeze of Sicilian lemon! Buonissimo! The peppered mussels were succulent and had a slight kick to it from the freshly ground pepper. We also ordered antipasti of ricotta and bottarga, a must try. The ricotta was so light almost like smooth panacotta. The staff was very efficient, they also spoke English if Italian you dont speak Italian. We finished our meal with a l’Amoro Unico, a Sicilian digestivo made from Sicilian oranges,...

Me and my husband go there on time as per our booking, nobody in the restaurant meaning no guests yet, however they want to seat us outside even if ALL tables inside are FREE. They insist that if we really want to seat we must seat outside (in the cold) on what that they call “marciapiedi” because all other guests are coming and all tables inside will be needed by all other guests. I said - we are guests as we booked as well and would like to seat inside because outside is cold and since nobody had arrived yet but the answer is strict - NO, outside or nothing. Mediaeval, NON courteous, rude service - perhaps...

Kus-Kus raised the bar for Italian cuisine for us. Out of all the places we’ve been to so far this is the most memorable dinner spot. We got the bruschetta which was AMAZING (it will ruin all other bruschetta for you in my opinion, so be warned). We also got the pasta with pesto, tomatoes and pistachios which was an odd choice for a couscous restaurant (I know) but it was soooo good the pasta was perfectly Al dente and the toppings were fabulous. The service was also very attentive and kind even though we spoke terrible Italian.
