Sono costretta a lasciare una stella a causa della maleducazione della proprietaria del posto. Io scorso sabato sera, con la mia famiglia ( gruppo di 8 persone) decidiamo di andare a mangiare da Verdechiaro, posto rinomato sia per la bontà dei piatti, sia per la Cortesia del personale. Una volta arrivati, non vi era traccia della nostra prenotazione fatta telefonicamente. La proprietaria, invasiva e nervosa ci chiede di verificare che la nostra chiamata sia stata fatta e mi vedo costretta a far vedere messaggi e chiamata telefonica dal mio cellulare , cosa che di base in un ristorante del loro calibro è davvero imbarazzante.

Una volta “ dimostrata” la nostra prenotazione, il personale si mette in moto per cercarci un tavolo trovando uno spazio nella sala fuori, totalmente in mezzo alla sala e schiacciati in mezzo al resto dei prenotati ; a quel punto, già irritati date le dinamiche, chiediamo di essere messi dentro dato che la mancanza era da parte del posto e che il trattamento non ci stava piacendo per nulla. Anche li il personale per fortuna molto gentile trova una soluzione. Quando finalmente tutto sembra risolto veniamo letteralmente “ assaliti “ dalla proprietaria che in maniera sguaiata ed insistente, (avvicinandosi in maniera invadente a noi clienti per discutere) inizia a sbraitare su quanto la sua giornata sia stata difficile e su quanto sbagliare sia umano. Nonostante continuassimo a dirle di calmarsi, lei con i suoi modi ha attirato l’attenzione di tutto il locale , trasformando in un attimo la nostra serata in qualcosa di sgradevole. Davvero imbarazzante. Non siamo andati via dal posto solamente perché essendo sabato era problematico rispostarci tutti e 8 e trovare un posto dove cenare ma non ho mai visto una reazione del genere; nonostante i nostri tentativi di farla allontanare dal tavolo continuava in totale autonomia questo lamento/ delirio. Sinceramente ne a me ne alla mia famiglia è mai capitato nulla del genere.

Per fortuna al contrario,il marito uomo molto cortese si è trovato costretto a venire a “ placare “ sua moglie, diversamente saremmo andati via.

Peccato, si mangia molto bene ed il personale, esclusa la proprietaria è tutto molto cortese.

Non ci era mai capitato di ricevere un trattamento simile, è stato vergognoso. Considerando specialmente che in 8 abbiamo consumato cibo , acqua, dolci..

Trattare così i propri clienti è da ristoranti di mezza stella. Poco importa la bontà del cibo se di sottofondo c’è un disagio...

We came specially to Verdechiaro as I am both vegan and gluten free and other reviews mentioned both being readily available. I was not disappointed.

It was a real treat to be able to eat vegan and gluten free versions of these dishes. I had the Il Genio pasta and a Tirimisu for dessert. Both were delicious and the perfect serving size.

All the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive, special mention to our server Filippo who generously spoke English with our table. Great service and good humour that made us feel relaxed and looked after.

There was also a duo playing jazz throughout the evening, which was the cherry on top of a great evening. The cocktails were also really nice.

Recommend, especially if vegan and/or gluten free as there were lots of options. Especially for dessert, which was a...
