This place is awesome!!! It's busy, and if the hours online are correct then I am blown away! It is inconceivable to me that a restaurant that's only open for lunch on Sunday can be so busy... but that's how good it is. Limited English spoken, but it wasn't an issue for us thanks to Google Translate and a good attitude. The two front end workers (I assume the owner and another young man) were very nice and friendly. The food was amazing. I tried the Pallotte Cacio e Uovo, a local cheese ball like a meatball. Awesome. My wife had the Chittarra con Pallote e teramo, kinda like spaghetti with meatballs. Excellent. In Pescara for work and have the day off. Wanted to try somewhere special for lunch outside piazza area. I found and opted to try Ristorante Gastronomia L'Abruzzo A Tavola. This ristorante is very small, only 4-5 tables inside. I told the only server that I was interested in Chitarra Alla Teramana (long squared spahgetti) and meat balls. The Chitarra Alla Teramana marinara was exceptional to say the least. It was so good that I wanted really wanted a 2nd order. Topped off my lunch with the Tiramisu AI Pistacchio Con Ganache AI Cioccolato which was good. Top off with an espresso. This lunch exceeded my expections and was well worth my 24 min walk from City Plaza area. My server was super polite and even the owner came out to check on me.
