We live in Pescara for an extended period and wanted to try this neighborhood restaurant. While the service was good and friendly, the food disappointing and for a place like this, way too expensive. We should have ordered two simple pizza’s instead.

With our aperitivi we had a few pieces of bruschetta (10 euro) they came with tasteless veggies – no tomato, no cheese, no prosciutto. A special pasta (Calabria style) with anchovies, peppers, capers and olive oil sounded good at first, but turned out to be quite salty. Pork fillet (tiny little portion) was tasty but dry. We added an order of grilled veggies (were they really grilled?) and shared one tiramisu for dessert. Total (incl. a bottle of house wine) came to 72 euro. Not what we expected. First of all - too expensive for the value. There was nothing wrong with the food (except for cold grilled veggies), and it was average. The main dishes arrived 5 min after ordering with cold grilled veggies. How is that even possible?!?! What made us specifically angry is that, at the end we ordered water with an idea to bring it home cause we didn't have enough in the house and when we wanted to take it the waitress with some excuse in Italian didn't want to give it to us. The water was in commercial glass packaging, so nothing special. Even when we said that we don't have water at home, she just insisted on leaving it. Really after paying 82 euros for 2 people and not even being so full, she couldn't make an exception. I don't...

We ordered our dinner and it was delicious. We went back several times. It is an amazing place to go to. We had dinner there the last night of our stay. We took pictures with Laura and Pasquale. I highly recommend you to experience this fine Abruzzo cuisine. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful (and reasonable) lunch experience in Pescara. The fagioli soup with green vegetables was warming, fresh and healthy. The risotto and fresh pasta courses were rich and divine. There is an excellent wine list and brilliant (and cheap) Abbruzese house wine options. Laura and Pasquale are welcoming and friendly. A must for food lovers in Pescara. Grazie mille. 💙

Da provare la Struncatura Calabrese, i Paccheri e tra i secondi i Filetti, tutti! nelle loro diverse declinazioni di sapori, accostamenti e colori. Le pizze, a lunghissima lievitazione, classiche e gourmet anch'esse ottime, fa gustare appena sfornate. Dolci classici rivisitati in chiave contemporanea, sempre con una strizzatina d'occhio ai sapori di Calabria, terra d'origine di Pasquale, titolare del locale, assieme alla moglie Laura, che, dopo una lunga parentesi nella ristorazione veloce, sono ritornati alla loro grande passione per la cucina di qualità, che spesso va a sconfinare nell'eccellenza.
