We live in Pescara for an extended period and wanted to try this neighborhood restaurant. While the service was good and friendly, the food disappointing and for a place like this, way too expensive. We should have ordered two simple pizza’s instead.
With our aperitivi we had a few pieces of bruschetta (10 euro) they came with tasteless veggies – no tomato, no cheese, no prosciutto. A special pasta (Calabria style) with anchovies, peppers, capers and olive oil sounded good at first, but turned out to be quite salty. Pork fillet (tiny little portion) was tasty but dry. The main dishes arrived 5 min after ordering with cold grilled veggies. How is that even possible?!?! What made us specifically angry is that, at the end we ordered water with an idea to bring it home cause we didn't have enough in the house and when we wanted to take it the waitress with some excuse in Italian didn't want to give it to us.
