Royal Cafe & Ristopizza — Restaurant in Pompei

Wonderful. Service can be improved. Started rough. I got my caprese before a pizza. I had to say “Hey, the caprese benne bonito”.

The food is good. I hope they improve the buffala mozzarella. The tomato fresh. Taste good. Sorrento tomato (I assume).

I’d like to give a more pleasant review. The owner of the place is very accommodating. They give me a cafe decafionado. Good men. And good pizza. Cheap prize. Not trying to hustle tourist. Honest men.

Run by probably the nicest person in Pompei. Located just outside the archeological site.

We dined right after walking through the ruins for 6 hours. We had pizza and calzones and very welcome beer, followed by sweets from the cafe. The proprietors were exceptionally kind. All food was very tasty and quickly prepared.

For a good local food experience i highly suggest this place! Food was delicious, the vibe of the place screams local and the staff was very helpful. The menu is big and what we tried was pasta dishes! Top place. Dont judge just by walking outside! Also the prices are fair! Inside we saw the classic wood oven for pizza making so it's on our list to come back for the pizza...
