We happened upon this place and what a happy chance. The best pizza in our Friday night in Italy. It was fresh and you could taste each ingredient individually, yet they all harmonized into a perfect bite. Added to that, it's located in a picturesque little town. As the name suggests, it's in the basement, which makes it more intimate and cozy. Service was very good. Please do go here even if you aren't in the vicinity. You won't regret it.

Nel mio giro in moto sulle Dolomiti non poteva mancare, oltre le splendide vette, anche la visita ad alcune cittadine montane. Tra queste Brunico è quella che mi piacevolmente colpito. Bella isola pedonale, passeggio, negozietti e tanta gastronomia. Tra tutte le pizzerie presenti quella che più di tutti mi ha colpito è stata Der Keller. Ho l'abitudine (o vizio) quando devo scegliere una pizzeria di guardare nei piatti dei commensali e subito mi ha colpito la loro pizza. Bel colore ambrato dell'impasto, bella maculatura, cornicione soffiato il giusto. Mi sono fermato ed ho ordinato e non ho potuto far altro che confermare il giudizio "visivo ". PIZZA SPETTACOLARE e ottima birra ghiacciata servita in boccali di ceramica. Farine eccellenti e ingredienti di prima qualità. Nota di merito anche al servizio al tavolo, svolto principalmente dalla coppia di proprietari, ragazzi semplici e cortesi e squisitamente cordiali. Assolutamente da provare la pizza con farina di grano arso. Magari a trovare a Roma una pizzeria del genere.....e lo dice un campano doc "emigrato" a Roma per lavoro.

Nachdem wir sehr positive Rezensionen über die Pizzen gelesen hatten, wollten wir dort auch eine im Urlaub genießen. Die Pizzen waren wirklich klasse, es gibt auch eine tolle Auswahl unterschiedlicher Kombinationen. Auch das Felsenkellerbier war total lecker. Das Servicepersonal war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend und die Preise absolut angemessen. Was mir nicht so gefallen hat, ist die Einrichtung. Wie der Name schon sagt, befindet sich das Restaurant in einem Keller. Dieser ist an und für sich auch total urig mit richtig altem Mauerwerk, was im Sommer auch angenehm kühl ist, aber die doch sehr billig und zusammengewürfelt wirkende Einrichtung passt leider so gar nicht. Deshalb gibt es beim Ambiente einige Abzüge. Zum länger Verweilen lädt das Restaurant nicht unbedingt ein, aber eine Pizza dort essen, ist sehr zu empfehlen! Übrigens gibt es auch einen kleinen Bereich draußen, als wir dort waren, war das Wetter nur leider nicht so gut.

Waiters were very rude. We showed up and there were two empty tables, one of them was reservated. When we asked if we could sit on the one that was not reservated, they said that I needed to ask inside, which the waiter should have done himself. When we asked to the waiter inside, they said they would check. In the meantime they put together the two tables without saying anything and when we asked again what happened they said very rudely “ITS BOOKED”. don’t know what the problem was with...

Went to Brunico for two weeks and ate here twice. Attempted a third time but they were fully booked. Therefore make sure to book a day in advance or so if you want to eat there.

The pizza was something really special and I don't think you can get this type of pizza anywhere outside Italy. The premises were cozy and warm with a deli by the counter and about 10-15 tables downstairs. The staff were super charming too. Hope to come back there next time...

I had a wonderful experience at this Italian pizza restaurant! The pizza was absolutely fantastic – perfectly baked with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The drinks complemented the meal beautifully, adding to the overall enjoyment. While the tiramisu was just average and didn’t quite stand out as much as the other items, it didn’t take away from the excellent overall experience.
