I have to say, our experience with Hotel Le Vigne is good.||Rooms are rustic and not exacly newly decorated, but in this case, I think I understand it. Everything seemed clean and that is the most important. Only there is no A/C so if you want to cool the room at the night you have to share the room with a lot of mosquitoes. (But thanks to mosquitoes I didn't miss a group of little wild boars sniffing under our windows in the middle of the night :)||We arrived late in the evening, but there was no problem with check-in.||It is harder to find, I believed that location on Booking.com map is correct (but it's wrong) and didn't bother to check it with GPS coordinates. The access road is tricky but our Fiat 500 handled it without big troubles so I think you really dont need 4x4 to reach the place.||We had a dinner in hotel's restaurant and the food was quite good for the price.||If nothing else, the surroundings really is the thing! Breakfast and dinner just next to the vineyard and the view from the room. And the absolute silence...
Read moreMy husband & I were just passing through Rada but when we realised there was a Wine festival (The annual one) we decided to stay. The only room we could find was at Le Vigne. What a surprise when we arrived to ask if there was availability. A lovely lady showed us to our room & we weren't disappointed. Situated down the hill a little from the main house with stunning 360 degree view of the vineyards!|Also supplied are deck chairs to sit outside your room which was a bonus with the views. The lady showed us a shortcut to walk through the vineyards back to the village for the festival. It took approximately 10 minutes to walk although when you drive to Le Vigne you feel like it is a long way out of town(it isn't so dont be put off). A lovely breakfast served outdoors or in if you prefer by a very friendly gent.|Will definitely return on our next visit to Rada (probably for the festival again, it was great).|Also very good...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights during our Chianti visit. It was difficult to find this place. Actually there are no sign-boards on where to turn... so got quite lost. ||Positives||- Nice location with wonderful vineyards and olive gardens around. Kids loved it !||- Availability of a Swimming pool (could be better maintained though)||- Rooms were quite spacious and convenient||- Very pleasant owners ||||Improvement areas||- Limited Breakfast options||- Restaurant is expensive (so are other restaurants in Chianti area though)||- Though they state they have laundry in the booking info, we had to drive to Radda City center for laundromat||- Directions to hotel was difficult. A sign board in the main road would help||- A play area for kids would be an added attraction||- Wifi is not avlbl in the rooms (only avlbl near reception). But being a farm house, this is...
