Trattoria Le Corti — Restaurant in Ravenna

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!! On arrival we were not welcomed kindly - the whole restaurant was empty & they said all of the tables were booked. We asked if perhaps someone was coming in an hour that we could have something quick to eat & she said she doesn’t know when everyone’s arriving & she couldn’t arrange anything. Being from the restaurant business myself, I could not comprehend an empty restaurant & not wanting to welcome guests. She called her manager to speak with me because I asked if its possible they checked the table bookings & he arrived, said you dont speak Italian? And I said unfortunately not & he said well I dont speak English & the whole team laughed ~ i have never felt so unwelcomed & insulted. Whats the point of having a restaurant if you cannot offer the minimium kindness? Terrible experience, do not encourage anyone to go as if the service is like that, imagine...

The ambience was just wonderful. As it is right on the road you can dine outside as well as in the shade. They have a proper dining room of course.

Food was mind-blowing. The Taste was delightful and presentation was great. I give 5 🌟 for the quantity . Be mindful of you are not very hungry be careful with the number of plates you order.

They have a good variety of beverages to select from. Home wine (not sure if I can call home made. But this is the one you can order in small quantities). Beers and soda drinks are available.

Bread was fresh and yummy. You need it for scarpetta.

PRICE:

For a two course meal with wine and caffe for 2 persons we spent around €65. Not so expensive I would say.

Esperienza assolutamente negativa. Il cibo senza lode e senza infamia, ma servizio veramente negativo. Ieri sera siamo stati trattati veramente male dalla cameriera fin da subito, che ci ha sempre risposto in maniera stizzita e irriverente. Ordinato e specificato più volte l ordine delle portate in quanto avevamo capito fin da subito che non avesse capito bene, complice il fatto probabilmente che fosse straniera, ma comunque sia da parte nostra sempre in maniera educata, arrivano gli antipasti e la mia seconda portata.. volevo farlo notare subito, ma ho detto, un errore può capitare visto che comunque capiamo le difficoltà magari di un altra lingua natia della cameriera, evitiamo di metterla in imbarazzo. Mia moglie che aveva preso un cocktail di gamberi si è ritrovata con un gambero da “guarnizione” a detta della cameriera, non pulito, scusa inaccettabile in quanto si sarebbe potuto mangiare tranquillamente se fosse stato pulito. Arriviamo poi a fine cena, che chiediamo le box per gli avanzi, e la cameriera capisce che vogliamo là box solo per uno dei piatti rimasti, quando capiamo che avrebbe buttato via la portata le facciamo notare che volevamo anche quello nel box, ci risbatte la padellina sul tavolo sbuffando.. Ordiniamo il dolce controvoglia vista la serata, e anche qui in altra incomprensione con la cameriera e la nonna di mia moglie, che essendo anziana con sente bene, e altra risposta stizzita da parte della cameriera che dice di non avere quel dolce perché è finito(crème caramel con amaretti). Io lo avevo ordinato SENZA, lei ripiega quindi sulla panna cotta con amaretti.. morale, arriva la panna cotta con amaretti , e la crem caramel CON amaretti… morale, servizio veramente pessimo, soprattutto per le risposte della cameriera.. lavorando col pubblico non puoi permetterti di rispondere in questo modo, visto anche che gli errori son sempre partiti da sue incomprensioni.. volevo farlo notare alla cassa, ma ho preferito chiudere la serata al prima possibile per evitare magari scenate della cameriera che abbiamo notato stare vicino alla cassa quasi aspettandosi una nostra critica.. quel che è certo è che non torneremo.. la giornata storta può capitare, a tutti, ma in certi lavori bisogna cercare di tenere professionalità anche quando c’è qualcosa che non va… anche perché nei soldi pagati (giusti per la qualità del cibo e la quantità ) viene pagato anche il servizio, che è stato veramente...
