Baan Poké Bowls — Restaurant in Rimini

First time writing a negative review in Italy. Very unwelcoming staff just because we weren’t Italian, even when we approached the place the lady gave us ‘why are you here’ look so we tried asking what do they have, unfortunately lady was not chatty at all and we only managed to order coffee. Weird waitress that did not even bother to serve us, only spoke Italian which is fine with us BUT we did not even get a menu, everybody around us who was italian friends of the waitress did in fact get a menu and drinks, we only got a coffee because we asked for it. Did not even know what they serve in this place, only overheard waitress speaking about salad with seafood to her friends at the table next to us. Good for them, enjoy the salad haha. We were warmly welcomed to the establishment, despite it being outside the advertised opening hours. The staff were all extremely pleasant and relaxed. We had a large poke bowl and a drink each and paid around €40, so it wasn’t the cheapest, but the quality was excellent, so definitely worth the money. Being next to the beach and still in the shade was also very nice. I would prefer if they had eat-in plates for those who choose not to take-away, but other than that, no complaints at all. Top! Had a bowl with chicken teriyaki sauce and avocado – very tasty!

The place is clean and nicely designed, located close to the beach.

Prices are somewhat noticeable, but still okay considering the quality of the food, which was very good.

Ordering was a bit tricky: since I don’t speak Italian, I had to switch to English, but the young staff didn’t speak it very well.

Waiting times in the evening were clearly longer than...
