Il Gatto sull'Albicocco — Restaurant in Rimini

Simply the BEST restaurant in the world. A MUST visit - it was a PERFECT dinner. I've had dinner in several Michelin star restaurants, and this restaurant hidden in the heart of Rimini beats all of them.

Occasion: 30th birthday dinner with family Party size: 6 Date + time: July 9th, 19.30PM Dietary preferences: 1 person intolerant to all carbohydrates, 1 who doesn't like fish.

Food: the food is incredible - creative, intriguing, exciting; and executed perfectly. Very inventive dishes with locally sourced ingredients cooked in new and exciting ways - creating absolute symphonies of flavor. It's hard to believe that the kitchen is made up of 1 chef and co-owner, and not 5+ chefs. Moreover, we had very extreme dietary restrictions in our party, but the chef was able to prepare the same number of dishes for them, with the same love and care, and despite being intolerant to all carbohydrates, the guest was still absolutely stunned by their food. There are simply no words to express how grateful we are, and how amazing the food was - even for someone with a lot of dietary challenges.

Service: outstanding service - from the first phone call to assess preferences / allergies and build the menu, to the sommelier and their unmatched experience in pairing wines, to the fast and attentive service - it was simply perfect.

Atmosphere: upscale but cozy: very elegant restaurant but definitely not pretentious - the size is appropriate to the staffing of the restaurant, making it a very cozy atmosphere while also being absolutely elegant and upscale.

To the team: I am beyond grateful for making my birthday so special. You have truly given me an incredible gift by sharing your passion and innate skill with me. Thank you!!! Can't wait to come back again next time...

We came to il gatto sull'albicocco for my partner's 30th birthday and it absolutely blew away our expectations. The communication with the chef when we made the reservation to accommodate my mother-in-law's dietary restrictions was incredibly thorough, and it was a truly impressive and delightful experience for her, when she is so used to not being able to enjoy the pleasure of eating out. We were all able to enjoy a unique and delightful experience with each course and the next course better than the prior. The owner and chef were incredibly humble and kind throughout the experience, although they have every right to be proud of the beautiful establishment they have created. Would absolutely recommend and we can't wait for our next trip to Rimini to enjoy this...

Each dish was a delight. We also got a very good (and detailed) wine recommendation. Every course was explained to us and the chef even came out and asked if we enjoyed our meal. The flavor combinations were amazing. handmade strozzapreti tasted really really good.for the dessert the combination of lemon, olive oil, licorice and plum was a pleasant surprise!We left the restaurant awed and full( not over fed). Thank you very much for this evening.
