B.Ro' Beef Bar — Restaurant in Rome

As an English tourist to Italy and Rome, this place was fantastic, manuel (god hope I’ve spelt his name right) our server for the evening was very good with supporting with translations of the menu and drink selection. Service here was great, very quick, portion sizes quite generous, I mean I’ve never seen a huge portion of chicken strips for a starter in my life

Beer selection here is great for those that love a good drink, they vary from Italian beers moving on up in strength to the IPA and aka Eric a pale ales at 7.5%, manuel was very good providing a taste test for anything your willing to try, must say that I wish they would open a restaurant in the uk

Incuriosito dalle recensioni siamo andati con la mia compagna a cenare in questo ristorante a viale Parioli . Era domenica sera , ed alle 21 il ristorante era praticamente vuoto , cosa molto strana per quel tipo di ristorante.

Confermo che il personale è di una gentilezza e di un educazione meravigliosa , ma nonostante ciò non credo torneremo a cena a causa della qualità e quantità del cibo.

Abbiamo ordinato una porzione di arrosticini ed una verdura ripassata come antipasto e due sandwich al pastrami di cui vado matto come piatto principale.

Gli arrosticini erano buoni , la verdura ripassata la volevamo senz'aglio ma ci è stato detto in maniera molto gentile che veniva preparata prima del servizio già con l aglio e che non era possibile soddisfare la nostra richiesta .( Eravamo seduti solo noi ed un altro tavolo in tutto il ristorante e forse una verdura ripassata l avrebbero anche potuta fare ).

Il sandwich al pastrami invece una delusione colossale , 4 fette di pane , due fette giganti di pomodoro, maionese in quantità smodata ed una fettina di pastrami che si nascondeva tra la salsa. Ne abbiamo mangiato metà per fame ma dopo un paio di morsi la maionese e la scarsità della carne ci hanno fatto desistere. Lo avrei pagato anche il doppio se la carne fosse stata tanta e buona ma così come ce lo hanno portato è stato uno spreco di tempo e soldi .

Uscendo ci siamo detti che forse abbiamo ordinato le pietanze sbagliate e che probabilmente gli hamburger sono il loro piatto forte ma sinceramente anche abitando a 5 minuti a piedi da questo posto non credo torneremo .

Peccato , sarebbe potuta essere una grande scoperta del quartiere...

First time eating here - came based on reviews. American Smashburger was really good as were the onion rings as an appetiser. Kids portions are a really good size too. Overall there were plenty of options for everyone at the table and we enjoyed the service and the food. We will be coming back here again to try...
