Delirium Café Roma — Restaurant in Rome

Great beers. Friendly staff. Great food. We’re from Canada and don’t get this fantastic selection of delirium, just the original, which is superb. It was a real treat to try the other brews. I didn’t see it on the menu but when we asked the server about flights she gave us a few options. They were out of the 15cl glasses so we got a couple flights of 25cl glasses. The red is just fantastic - strong and fruity, never really had that combo before. The food was also really good. Had the elephant burger which came with fries that were in the shape of chips, they were actually spectacular!! The beer selection, wonderful....

We seemed to misunderstood each other quite a lot with the waiter, but we were forgiving with each other I guess. I first ordered a Manhattan cocktail which I found out later that I don't like, but I read about it, and it tasted like how it should have been, plus the other cocktails we ordered were really good, so big thumbs up to the bartender. The place in itself was really good, there were not a lot of people actually (we went on a spring tuesday evening), and the atmosphere felt really good, almost like a ruined pub ("rom kocsma" in Hungarian). As an American student living in Rome, Delirium is EASILY the best pub/bar I’ve come across. Especially in Trastevere. If you’re ever looking for a place to watch the Premier League or Serie A matches, it’s a great place with many TV’s, great atmosphere. I personally go there for Roma matches. The staff are friendly and welcoming, every time I walk in Majid has a big smile on his face and shakes my hand. The food is fantastic, I get a burger or their pulled pork; and the beer is even better, I go for the delirium red. Absolutely worth a stop...
