Alice Pizza Trastevere — Restaurant in Rome

Wow, a totally Roman culinary experience, plus convenience and affordability. The smoked salmon pizza was extraordinary. Pepperoni was extraordinary. We've tried a handful of different pizzas here and they're all good, but the salmon and the pepperoni are by far the favorites. This Roman style pizza is super crispy on the bottom, yet still soft and doughy throughout the rest. You can choose exactly how big you want your slice and it’s freshly warmed in the oven to order. Very hot and delicious. After this place we went to another highly rated (but more traditional and expensive) pizza restaurant, and it was so, so, so much worse than Alice!

The only reason that this place has a good rating is that it's close to bars, and drunk people just want to eat. They do not understand flavor or quality. Display pizza that gets reheated. That what you will get. And they have no toilet either. I give it a 3 rating instead of 1 because the server was a nice person.

Edit: i had given a 3 star rating before, but apparently, they replied to me that i am drunk and my taste is not good. Was very surprised by the poor experience we had at Alice's. We were very excited to visit given it's 4.9 star rating but had quite the negative experience.

They definitely have a great variety of pizza. However, when I selected margherita pizza, they did not reheat it. It had been sitting out for awhile, so it was actually served to me cold. This is the first time this has ever happened to me in Italy .

The person I was working with was very rude, impatient, and seemed annoyed that we had come in.
