Duke's — Restaurant in Rome

My last dinner in Roma, Italian x Asian fusion dishes! Food was absolutely delicious, experimental and very well prepared! Service was top notch! The salmon fillet was absolutely mind and taste buds blowing as I normally do not like cooked fish dishes as I am worried the fish would be too well done, however this salmon fillet really changed my perception about cooked fish in restaurant completely. Very nice place to eat. You have to think very little, cause the menu is fixed (but still very nice). Other than that, you can choose one of their juices and one coffee or similar to go with your brunch. They have a nice balance of sweet and salty foods.

Also the restaurant is dog friendly ( at least with small sized dogs).

Overall a nice experience, the staff is well prepared and very available.

The bathrooms are kind of weird, couldn't figure out how either the soap or drying paper...

Un locale che ormai si avvia verso i trenta anni,ma ancora attualissimo nell'allestimento. Le guide dicono locale di cucina ed in stile californiano.. non so'... purtroppo non sono ancora mai stato in California, ma al Duke's si mangia sempre bene, la cucina e' raffinata, il servizio accogliente e puntuale ed inoltre..... siamo sempre invitati da amici. Super. Mi piace ancora,lo ho visto progettare e costruire ,il locale è rimasto identico(all'incirca) e tutto tiene ancora . Sempre molto affollato (per due chiacchiere cambierei location) ,con una bella atmosfera concitata al bancone e nella parte esterna riservata ai drink(cocktail notevoli). Parte interna e dehors, invece, per il ristorante. La carta dei vini spazia nel mondo (Cile, California..) ed il menù a distanza di tempo è inossidabile(forse troppo)con qche variazione stagionale.Cosi, un po alla rinfusa, abbiamo assaggiato, tempura di ombrina ,pappardelle con cubetti di lardo,quaglie e limone di Amalfi ,gelato alla cannella, insalata di germogli, pici con ragù di anatra, peperoni cruschi e lime il tutto bagnato da un importante Chardonnay californiano che faceva sognare questa terra .
