We went here recently and it was one of the best experiences we had here. The food, especially the pasta's were incredible and you could taste the passion within the dishes. The owners are really nice and were welcoming us with a big smile. You could see that they really tried to do their best to make us feel welcome and have the nicest time. Though I am not Italian myself, I do think that this was one of the most authentic Italian places that we went to during our trip to Rome, and it was definitely worth it.

Finalmente sono riuscita ad andare a provare l ' osteria Finus!!! Avevo tantissime aspettative , dopo aver sentito solo parole stra positive su questo locale ... aspettative Superate alla grande! Ero talmente entusiasta che avrei voluto provare qualsiasi cosa .Hanno un menu alla carta + ogni giorno dei tantissimi e gustosissimi fuori menu' ... Io ho ordinato una carbonara che era Superlativa ,proprio come piace a me ,cremosa e saporita al punto giusto ed anche se non cozzava proprio cpn il primo ,ho voluto provare la frittura di calamari,anche quest ultima cotta perfettamente e la freschezza del pesce si sente...le mie amiche hanno preso saltimbocca alla romana e le zucchine alla scapece(ho assaggiato anche quelle ,buonissime!)...Il locale si trova all interno di un mercato coperto , arrangiato come le osterie di una volta , con panche e tavoli di legno .Trovandosi dentro ad un mercato , non e' come mangiare in un posto chiuso , ma sono attrezzati anche per la stagione invernale con i funghi...Sicuramente tornero' per provare altre specialita' .Ah dimenticavo , ambiente tranquillo , simpatico e soprattutto dove ti senti a casa

What a gem! Fabrizio was an amazing host and welcomed us so warmly, recommended amazing dishes and had wonderful conversation with us. The food was to die for, by far the best I've eaten in Rome, extremely fresh & masterfully prepared and at very affordable prices. I can't wait to go back!

Have been their client since I moved to the zone in 2023 and frequently visit the local market in via Franco Sacchetti. And always reserve during weekend!

The menu change based on the season, of course, and they will give you their best quality, mostly are traditionals Roman cuisine! Now that it is summer, they have more seafood on the menu (as I shared in here). The owner, staffs, and chefs are super nice and friendly.
