We saw Komorebi by chance, walking by one evening. The reviews seemed great, so we popped in -- and were not disappointed. Far from it! The atmosphere was nice and cozy on a November evening, the team was super engaged and helpful, very focused and into their food offering and its quality and presentation -- and the food was, wow! Read moreA real subpar experience compared to the price level of the restaurant. I came here with the expectation of a steep pricing (sushi is always more expensive) and was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the place which really my expectations high. Unfortuneatly the food was not up to par with aforementioned and I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the sushi. Some of the rolls, the rice was falling apart, too much mayo was used or the rolls were either simply too big or too small. This and the fact that we spent most of our visit waiting for our food really lowers the score I can give this restaurant. I would recommened that the kitchen speed up their sushi making and focus more on the quality of said sushi, or simply lower the price range they expect...

The staff are super friendly and charming and you will pay for what you eat, no surprises. Desserts are delicious, i had the cheesecake with strawberries and yuzu and I could have eaten, literaly, a dozen. To close the evening I ordered a gin & tonic, in fact a japanese gin... just exquisite. It's been a very enjoyable night, i will...
