La Drogheria — Restaurant in Rome

A bit disappointing dinner because of the food for this summer season.

This use to be my favorite restaurant in Ostia Lido. I went there because of their classic tiramisú but this year it was a bit bad. It was unfortunately made very fast with digestive biscuits, coffee flavor was missing and I had a terrible stomach pain after eating it.

Antipasti were ok. The cacio e pepe with red shrimp tartar was ok but portion size was only 80grams IKEA plates. The gratin squid was ok. Wines were good. The trebbiano d’Abruzzo was a bit expensive and glasses were cheap, bread was at least few days old and not very flavorful. Didn’t appreciate the terrace cover because it started to rain and had to move my own table to not get wet. We had a table available inside but it was too hot (no AC) and music was playing loud to excite the open kitchen and bar.

Sorry Drogheria but you use to be cool. Hopefully next time will...

Ordered a salad with tuna, fried calamari and pasta. There was no tuna in the salad, the calamari was overcooked(probably it didn't defrost well enough, so they overcooked in order to be safe) and pasta was nowhere near al dente (2 more minutes would give you the right pasta).

Mi spiace dare 3 stelle ma l’aperitivo ci ha troppo deluso. Prendiamo 2 spritz, una birra alla spina e un analcolico e il cameriere ci propone delle formule da abbinare 1 tagliere salumi e formaggi e delle bruschette, ok optiamo per uno e uno e alla fine cosa arriva? Un mega conto con tutte le bevande a prezzo pieno e il tagliere con mortadella, salame e forse coppa con 3 tipi di formaggi, ciotolina di miele e olive taggiasche 14euro? A quel prezzo mi sarei aspettata almeno del prosciutto crudo o salume di maggior qualità…poi le 4 mezze bruschette da condividere con dei patè a 9€? Anche i drink tutti a prezzo pieno 7+7+5.5+5. No… non ci siamo. Nessuna formula aperitivo. Nessuna proposta invitante e per di più con prezzi troppo alti rispetto gli altri locali della zona in orario aperitivo.
