La Santeria Trattoria Consapevole — Restaurant in Rome

This is a hidden spot in the suburban area of Pigneto, where the Roman night life is active and vibrant. The restaurant is very well decorated with nice furniture and a mixed style, radical-chic with a touch of jungle in the garden which must be very nice during sunny days or warm summer evenings. There is also a private room, separated from the rest of the restaurant by a glass door, it is basically an extension of the garden, but it is surrounded by glass walls so you can enjoy the illusion of being outside even when the weather doesn't allow it! This room is probably the best spot as the main room of the restaurant becomes really crowded and noisy when there's a lot of people. Let's talk about the food. The menu is focused on seafood and the starters are probably the best dishes overall. We tried also some of the pastas and main courses but we were left a bit disappointed by the price/quantity ratio, the food was a bit scarce if you compare it to others similar restaurants even though the quality was high. Then we got some desserts, some of which were homemade and we were quite happy with all of them. The waiters were very kind and thoughtful. We went to this very romantic restaurant with my boyfriend and let me tell you it's the restaurant i loved the most in my entire life. I have been to many restaurants, even fine dining restaurants, but i have never loved one that much. I love the patio we were in, i love the music we heard, i love the food, the antipasti were really cute, the pasta were delicious, the main course was simple yet very good, and the desserts were the final touch to a splendid meal, and everything was portioned so well that for the first time i left a restaurant not feeling like i had eaten too much.

Sabato abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare a "La Santeria, trattoria consapevole" nel vivace quartiere Pigneto di Roma. L'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole grazie all'ambiente confortevole e accogliente, e al personale cortese e disponibile.

Abbiamo iniziato con un misto di crudi che includeva gamberi rossi di Mazara, scampi, tartare di spigola e carpaccio, tutti freschissimi e deliziosi. Tra gli antipasti, i gyoza con gambero, guanciale di Amatrice e salsa teriyaki sono stati una piacevole sorpresa, combinando sapori tradizionali e innovativi.

Per i primi, abbiamo assaggiato gli spaghetti con le vongole e lo spaghettino Felicetti con burro, alici e limone fermentato. Entrambi i piatti erano ben preparati e gustosi. Il cubotto di tonno croccante con puntarelle e salsa ajoli è stato un secondo piatto eccellente, con una perfetta combinazione di consistenze e sapori.

Nel menù, per ogni sezione, c'è sempre una proposta di terra, sia negli antipasti che nei primi che nei secondi, offrendo una varietà di scelte per tutti i gusti.

I miei figli hanno preferito un piatto più street alle combinazioni disponibili, prendendo un burger con pane di loro produzione, hamburger di scottona da 180gr, cheddar, cipolla caramellata e ketchup. Piatto informale ma comunque di alta qualità e conforto

Per concludere, abbiamo gustato una selezione di dolci: cheesecake con frutti di bosco, crema catalana e tenerino. Tutti i dessert erano deliziosi e ben presentati.

In generale i piatti erano molto buoni e freschi anche se le porzioni non erano particolarmente abbondanti. La qualità del cibo e l'atmosfera del locale hanno reso l'esperienza molto piacevole.
