Pizzium - Roma Via Baldo degli Ubaldi — Restaurant in Rome

Food was excellent. We ordered a Margarita pizza and it was fantastic. That is where the good part of this review ends. Service was HORRIBLE! The waitress seemed so put out that I ordered only one take out pizza.

After ordering she told me to sit outside to wait, and minutes later told me she needed the table, even though there were many empty tables outside. When I asked if I could buy a bottle of sparkling water I was told they only have still. Really?!?

The final straw was when I asked for a Coke when the pizza was ready, the look on her face could not have been more offended. Definitely not the reaction I expected. She charged me 4€ for a 450mL bottle of soda! I’m certain that is not the normal price, especially when the pizza only cost 8€!!!

My recommendation is to find a different pizza shop. This one is not worth the attitude...

The pizza and bruschetta were excellent. But waiting in a long line to be seated when you made a reservation was bad. In front of me there were people ordering for take away and people with no reservation. Once seated drinks arrived immediately but to order there was only one waiter that could take orders for the entire restaurant, had to ask to order food twice. One waiter to be seated one waiter to pay for the entire restaurant is not enough. Another huge line just to pay plus they do no accept American Express cards ….for not the usual pizza…. which was great but not usual price you must take all cards. The “regular waiters” were great the ONLY two in red shirts cannot handle the entire restaurant so my suggestion is hire more waiters in red shirts that can do everything!!! And accept...

Pizzeria aperta da poco proprio davanti al centro commerciale aura, comodamente raggiungibile e con parcheggio gratuito (le prime tre ore). Vetrina che trasmette curiosità quando si passa davanti, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, arredamento molto carino, diverso dalle altre attività.

Abbiamo provato: una pizza a portafoglio come antipasto, molto apprezzata, non tutti la propongono, è stata una piacevole sorpresa trovarla nel menù; una margherita, con mozzarella abbondante e senza il tipico errore che molti fanno, ovvero l’acqua persa che va a rovinare il tutto; una Veneto, il gorgonzola sposava perfettamente la crema al radicchio, che non è risultato per nulla amaro e con strani retrogusti, il tutto accompagnato da noci; una cheesecake al pistacchio, davvero buona, la crema sapeva proprio di pistacchio (molti l’allungano in modo eccessivo con il cioccolato bianco rendendo il pistacchio anonimo), la crema al formaggio è risultata molto buona e leggera, senza quella fastidiosa consistenza gelatinosa.

Per quanto riguarda la pizza nel complesso l’ho apprezzata molto, ben cotta e per nulla pesante. Una menzione, che ha dato una marcia in più, vorrei farla anche al forte sapore di basilico. Se proprio dovessi fare una critica avrei preferito la parte centrale un po’ più alta, ma questo è un mio gusto personale.

Per quanto riguarda il personale è molto gentile ed educato, nonostante la giovane età. Sono contrario al pagamento del servizio al momento del conto, ma ieri non mi è davvero pesato, l’ho trovato giusto (una delle poche volte).
