Ristorante Albaruja Roma — Restaurant in Rome

This restaurant is located very close to the place where we stayed a week. We read the reviews and decided to eat there since most of the reviews were very positive. This place is better than advertised. We ate there three times during our six day stay and the food was amazing. I believe it is a family-owned restaurant that was busy with local patrons and Alezondro (our waiter) was extremely attentive to our needs despite the number of diners. Excellent place. I was often here when I lived in Rome for a while and came back here after 10 years. Food quality and excellent attitude still at the same high level! If you are served by Julia, you can basically relax when you chose your dishes. You will be offered the best of all they have! For me Sauté of mussels is the best choice, they are just the best. I really liked the service — everyone was friendly and attentive, and the dish itself was just great! The risotto was perfectly cooked: the rice was tender, and the seafood was fresh and tasty. The place feels cozy, and you can tell they know good food here. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo.
