In the buzzing heart of a busy city, you might not expect to stumble across a charming haven for cocktail lovers like Bar Städlin. With its inviting casual setting and just the right pinch of enchanting background music, it's the ideal spot for a quiet conversation or a night of spirited solace.

At the center of it all is the bar's ace in the hole – a second-generation cocktail maestro who not only crafts beautiful drinks but does so with a deep reverence for their history and tradition. For those worried about the cost of such a distinctive experience, rest easy. I enjoyed a perfectly balanced Negroni for a reasonable €9. But it wasn't just the price tag that impressed me, it was the kind-hearted and attentive service. As I was traveling alone, the bartender offered a complimentary welcome drink and a bowl of chips to keep me company. It's these little gestures that can turn a standard night out into a memory you'll cherish.

Bar Städlin has a fun and unique backstory too, which adds to its quirky charm. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the establishment used panda bears as social distance dividers. The adorable pandas soon became a mascot for the bar, which remains a firm favorite among the regulars. The pandemic might be behind us, but the pandas are here to stay, a sweet reminder of resilience and adaptation in trying times.

The only downside? The interior can get a tad warm, making it somewhat uncomfortable to sit inside at the bar. But, considering the glorious weather outside, it's a small drawback. Most patrons would likely prefer to soak in the serene outdoor ambiance anyway.

In conclusion, Bar Städlin is a breath of fresh air. A place where tradition meets modernity, where warm service and reasonable prices go hand in hand, and where pandas serve as an unexpected yet charming mascot. It's a spot that's guaranteed to leave you with a story to tell and a smile on your face. I can't wait for my next visit.

Vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, and meat lovers are all welcome to Städlin. Spectacular food and drinks are the slogans and the venues to new friendships. Städlin has become the party coordinator of the capital to celebrate birthdays, baptisms, bachelor parties, weddings, and graduation services for which you would like to request information at the entrance. Locals and tourists all gather here to enjoy its familiar ambiance. Worry not if your date shows late, pandas will accompany you. Staff is friendly and speaks fluent English. They explained everything on the menu and helped me to choose the best suitable taste when I first came. It is also open during daylight offering FREE WIFI, large tables, and a private ambiance which made it my favorite place to study in Rome. I am very happy to share with you one of my favorite places, in which you may find me either studying during day or parting the night. Cheers ! and...

Il locale Devo ammettere che il locale è carino: l’ambiente è gradevole, ben arredato e si respira una bella atmosfera. È anche facile da raggiungere e la comodità del parcheggio è sicuramente un punto a favore, cosa non da poco se si vuole trascorrere una serata senza lo stress di cercare posto in giro.

Il cibo Il cibo è stato la nota più positiva dell’esperienza. Ho provato sia il panino con pulled pork sia il cheeseburger: entrambi davvero gustosi, ben preparati e con ingredienti di buona qualità. Anche le patatine erano buone, croccanti e ben accompagnate (quando finalmente sono arrivate le salse, ma ci arriverò…).

Il servizio Purtroppo, è proprio il servizio a trascinare l’esperienza verso il basso, ed è il motivo principale del mio giudizio. Iniziamo col dire che avevamo chiesto semplicemente delle salse per le patatine — maionese, ketchup e salsa BBQ — e il cameriere si è lamentato del fatto che le avessimo richieste, come se stessimo chiedendo la luna. Quando infine ce le ha portate, lo ha fatto con un commento del tutto fuori luogo: “Tiè, fateme santo”, come se ci stesse facendo un favore personale.

Ma non è finita qui. Avevamo prenotato regolarmente il tavolo, e nonostante questo ci è stato chiesto per ben due volte di lasciarlo, con la motivazione che fosse riservato per altri clienti. Ho provato a spiegare alla cameriera come fosse possibile che altre persone avessero prenotato lo stesso tavolo già assegnato a noi, ma non ha saputo darmi alcuna spiegazione. Ho chiesto allora di parlare con un responsabile di sala, ma nemmeno in quel caso ho ricevuto una risposta concreta. Ci tengo a sottolineare che, al momento della prenotazione, non mi era stata fornita nessuna indicazione sulla presenza di turni da rispettare. Capisco perfettamente la gestione dei turni, è una pratica comune e assolutamente comprensibile, ma almeno avvertite i clienti in anticipo!

Per concludere, il cameriere ha anche sbagliato la nostra ordinazione. Gliel’abbiamo spiegato più volte, ci siamo ritrovati a ripetere la stessa cosa per tre volte di fila prima che riuscissero a capire l’errore.

Conclusioni Peccato davvero, perché il locale ha del potenziale e la cucina è valida, ma un servizio del genere rovina completamente l’esperienza. Spero sinceramente che migliorino la gestione e la formazione del personale, perché al momento non mi sentirei di consigliare questo posto né...
