What an amazing find! This restaurant has everything you might want to look for when in Rome. Absolutely delicious food! The chef is preparing all your meat at the butcher block and it’s fresh and fast. Pizza is amazing! Thin crust and not greasy! Authentic, amazing food and wine, great staff who can speak English and makes funny jokes and food that will not cost you over €100 with appetizers and wine. And because it’s outside of the city center lots of local people come to eat. It’s in their family for two generations and you can feel that’s it’s real food from their hearts. Partiamo dall'entrata: l'accoglienza è lodevole! il personale è gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e disponibile, con battute pronte e un sorriso che mette a proprio agio. L'ambiente è un mix perfetto tra rustico e moderno, e c'è un frigo della carne da cui scegliere il taglio.

Da romano e amante delle belle mangiate, trovo sempre più difficile trovare locali che offrano VERA cucina romana (cucina romana se ne trova quanta ne vuoi, essendo a Roma. Tutti grandi imprenditori campioni di marketing, ma la cucina meritevolmente romana è molto rara ad oggi e a chi piace mangiare lo sa bene). Albino è una scoperta incredibile!

Ho provato gricia, spaghetti cacio e pepe, e oggi finalmente i rigatoni con la pajata! Albino è appena entrato sul podio dei miei posti preferiti. La pajata è perfetta: il pecorino romano si sente ed è di ottimo sapore. Anche la Pajata di per sè è di qualità: tenerissima, non stopposa né dura, cucinata alla perfezione.

Inoltre, ho provato anche gli hamburger di Chianina, che di solito nei ristoranti mi lasciano un po' scettico per via delle porzioni ridotte. Invece, qui il concetto di maxi hamburger è davvero rispettato: abbondante, saporito, tenero al sangue e accompagnato da una cicoria ripassata degna di nota. Prezzi nella norma e forse anche di più, nel senso che negli ultimi anni i prezzi in giro si sono alzati di molto, ed il problema ulteriore è che in generale hanno abbassato porzioni e qualità. In questo posto no! i prezzi rientrano nella norma (attuale norma) , la qualità si sente e le porzioni sono abbondanti!

Sono felicissimo di aver trovato un posto del genere. Fino ad oggi ci sono passato per la pausa pranzo , ma sicuramente inizierò ad andarci anche la sera con amici e lontano dall'orario di lavoro😃

I can't choose which is better here, the food or the great service. Both are excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff checked on us to make sure we has everything we wanted. Of course my friends wanted THE STEAK. And we were not disappointed. Monday night the crowd is not too large so we leisurely could review the fresh meats and steaks and chat with the butcher and cook. So friendly and helpful.
