I averaged the service and the taste. We walked in on the thought that seafood would be great. It was empty, but obviously open. They asked if we had a reservation, kinda surprising barrier for a place with $10 entrees. We didn't, so just got the "fish and go." We laughably counted at least 5 employees and no customers over that period... They are really serious about reservations, it seems. So I give the service 1 star.
We got a few dishes. In general, I thought the bread for the sandwiches was a bit over-toasted, but it certainly tasted good despite that. We got some of the fried food, and it was outstanding. It is similar to what my son would order in the US, but lighter, less heavily battered. You could really appreciate the flavor more. I have it overall a five star for the flavor because we really did enjoy our "fish and go," even if we had to eat it in our room.
I would really love to read that someone called for reservations outside and got them...

One more thing. The bill had a different price for the wine than the menu. They charged us the lower amount from the menu, but had we not noticed it, they would screw us for 4 euros. That's how much they value their reputation maybe.
I came here only because I was with people who don't understand food and have difficulty walking (we were nearby). Don't go to seafood places in non-coastal cities like Rome! It's like flying big distances to Italy and then eating...
Read moreFive stars since we were attended nicely. Kudos to the young waiters serving us, a smile always helps the world be a better place and if you are in Rome, that's a treasure. Food was refined cuisine, we ordered an exotic salad, octopus and Tuna 'filetto', all were nicely done. Only 'down' point was the temperature of the tune, but keeping temperature when you just 'sealed' the meat is something pretty much impossible. Coffee was also on an Italian standard (tending to upper side). Place was not crowded and we liked the upper side terrace. Good if you look for a more refined place after days eating pasta &...
