Didn’t even take a seat! Who I assume must’ve been the owner was rude and discourteous. Ended up here since the place across the street L’Arcangelo was closed (even though Google reflected it was open). We asked for a table for two and that guy directed us directly to the table in front of him next to the exit in the sun. We said we didn’t want that table (there were plenty to choose from) and he directed us to the same table 2 tables down - in the sun. We were about to take a seat and placed our water bottles on the table, he instructed us to put our water bottles away in a very rude almost upset tone. At that point we just gathered our belongs and left. As we were walking away he waved as he said “bye” in a sarcastic tone - then he healed as we crossed the street - “this is Italy!” What a poor reflection of Italian customer service. Don’t know why anyone would want to spend their hard earned money there. Google should just remove this place from maps since it’s offensive...
Read moreThis is by far the WORST place you can go in Rome. Avoid at all cost, the owner is the rudest person and treat customers like dogs. The drinks are disgusting, service are incredibly slow and rude. This place needs to go bankrupt and close very soon as it doesn’t deserve to earn a cent from anybody, AVOID AVOID AVOID the lowest point of hospitality, a disgrace
p.s. I have just seen the reply from the owner.... I simply just TOLD THE TRUTH here. If you are not able to run a place not my fault. I still remember the bad experience after 2 years. You treat people like garbage. There are many great places that are struggling and still put effort in what they do and provide great service, you don't deserve to have...
Read moreWebsite says “like walking into a warm room”?? Not the case. The place was half empty and the host was visibly distressed and rolled his eyes when I asked for dinner for one. The servers stood next to my table and stared at me the whole meal, tossed everything on the table wordlessly, and rushed everything along to get me out quickly. I have never felt less welcome in a restaurant in my life. The food was mediocre for the neighborhood - go to Lumiere across the street or Su e Giu a few blocks away - significantly better food and truly...
