Ristorante La Ciociara dal 1969 ROMA — Restaurant in Rome

Food was okayish, staff was terrible. Before I went inside, I saw there are tables outside that weren’t reserved, so we could sit outside, but when we asked to sit there they said it was full, we could only sit inside. After that I wanted to leave, because I saw the empty tables outside with my own two eyes, but seeing that they said, there are actually empty tables outside… After going through their terrible webpage to see the menu (they did not had printed ones) a lot of dishes didn’t have pictures, after getting our food I realized why, they didn’t look appetizing to say the least, the pizzas were burnt, but at least the taste was not terrible for the not burnt parts. Prices were fair. At this point I would have given them 3 stars, but after paying for the mediocre meal within 5(!) minutes we were asked to leave, saying they needed the table, the inside of the restaurant was almost empty, and the outside had a few reserved tables but half of it was empty as well. I would NOT recommend anyone going there, they just hate tourist I guess, they just want your money and get you out of there ASAP. Worst experience in Rome by far. Pretty disappointed since, they had pretty good ratings on trip...

Siamo stati a cena in due e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente. Abbiamo ordinato una carbonara e un’amatriciana, ma entrambe le portate hanno lasciato molto a desiderare. La carbonara era troppo liquida, con l’uovo mal lavorato, mentre l’amatriciana aveva un sugo dal sapore avido e poco equilibrato. Abbiamo lasciato entrambi i piatti quasi intatti.

Abbiamo poi deciso di provare il piatto del giorno, i carciofi alla giudia, ma l’esecuzione è stata disastrosa: l’esterno era stracotto e secco, mentre l’interno risultava crudo. Inoltre, il carciofo non era stato pulito correttamente, con foglie esterne dure e tanta barba all’interno, rendendolo praticamente immangiabile. È stato senza dubbio il peggior piatto della serata.

Per i contorni, abbiamo ordinato della cicoria ripassata, che in realtà era semplicemente bollita e completamente insapore, quindi immangiabile. Le patate al forno erano nella media, cotte con tutta la buccia, che però non risultava particolarmente piacevole.

Per dolce, il tiramisù era nella media, mentre le pizzette fritte con Nutella si sono rivelate gradevoli.

Nel complesso, questo ristorante non mi ha convinto per la cucina romana tradizionale. Viste le numerose recensioni positive, forse il loro punto forte è la pizza, ma personalmente non tornerò per scoprirlo.

Il personale di sala è stato gentile e cordiale, mentre l’uomo alla cassa – probabilmente il proprietario – si è mostrato freddo e distaccato, forse perché aveva saputo della mia lamentela sui carciofi.

In definitiva, un’esperienza negativa e un locale in cui...

Αρχικά να πω ότι από τις 5 βραδιές μας στη Ρώμη τις 3 φάγαμε στο La Ciociara! Αυτό από μόνο του λέει πολλά... Μας το σύστησε τυχαία ένας ντόπιος επειδή μέναμε στη περιοχή και θέλαμε να φάμε κάτι μετά τη πτήση μας επειδή φτάσαμε αργά. Πήγαμε χωρίς κράτηση και μας υποδέχτηκαν με χαρά και παρόλο που ήταν γεμάτο, μας βρήκαν τραπέζι και κάτσαμε. Η πίτσα ήταν απίθανη (Ρωμαϊκού στυλ) με ανάλαφρες γεύσεις χωρίς να σε βαραίνει. Η καρμπονάρα πεντανόστιμη ( πολύ καλύτερη από μαγαζιά της Trastevere που είναι πολυδιαφημισμένα), η πανακότα ανάλαφρη και τόσο γλυκιά όσο έπρεπε. Την επόμενη ημέρα είχαμε κλείσει μέσω the fork, δοκιμάσαμε αματριτσιανα και μοσχαρίσια a la Florentine, απίστευτο ψήσιμο στο κρέας και στην αματριτσιανα καταλάβαινες τη νοστιμιά της τομάτας , το τιραμισού ήταν πεντανόστιμο! Τη Τρίτη ημέρα πάλι μέσω fork αφού είχαμε και έκπτωση 20% και φάγαμε ραβιολι πεντανόστιμο, σπαγγέτι a la vongole η οποία ήταν νόστιμη αλλά νομίζω κάτι ήθελε ακόμη χωρίς να μπορώ να προσδιορίσω τι... από γλυκό πήραμε το μιλφειγ, γλυκό πολύ νόστιμο! Οι τιμές ήταν πολύ καλές ειδικά για τη Ρώμη... Το κατάστημα ξεπερνάει κατά πολύ τα διαφημισμενα της Ρώμης. Το προσωπικό όλες τις φορές μας υποδέχτηκε με χαμόγελο και η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογη!!! Στα πλεονεκτήματα ότι το 90% των πελατών ήταν Ρωμαίοι... Όταν βρεθώ ξανά στη Ρώμη δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να μην ξαναπάω στο...
