Honestly if I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. The food was ok. The staff the absolute worst service I ever received. Our server was very clearly hitting us, a large group of girls, and seemed even slightly drunk. At first, I almost thought it was funny, he was making a light of the fact that we were not from Italy and didn't speak the language but it very quickly turned weird and he continued to come back to mock us, having already experienced a week in Rome, I knew this was not the way restaurants treated their customers, even and especially if they're foreign. He tried to memorize the order of almost 10 people and had to come back to make sure he got it right at least twice. He encouraged continuous drinking after we had already said we had had enough. As we were getting our check he made a comment something along the lines of "I don't work all the time, I have time off later" in an effort to probably get us offer to hang out with him? Then, when going to pay the check, our friend was met by a man calling his friends over to look at her while they asked for her name and made comments about her appearance in front of her and even then pressuring her to tip when I've never received worse service. Honestly, just splurge a little bit on the better service in the piazza, this might be one of the cheaper places but there's no need to accidentally place yourself in an uncomfortable environment such...
Read moreAvoid this place at all cost! These guys are all scam artist. I sadly did not read the reviews before sitting down and once I sat down and ordered a drink I looked up the reviews and felt it was too late to back out. The food I ordered was absolutely terrible for rome standards. The drinks are expensive and bad (10 euro for an Aperol spritz?!). And then I asked before ordering if they took card and the waiter said he will talk to his manager and ask, he came back and said yes that it wasn’t a problem. Once the bill came we placed our card and the waiter waited around 10 minutes to let us know that with card you have to pay inside. We go inside and they inform us that their system isn’t working, if we have cash. I told them that if they knew this, why not tell us before we ordered since I had asked them beforehand. The manager got upset and started raising his voice and telling me that the system crashed only 5 minutes ago so he didn’t know when I ordered. When I informed him I had read other reviews saying the same thing he just kept repeating that he didn’t know. I luckily found some cash I didn’t want to use and he just slammed my change on the counter without saying anything else. Rome had been perfect up to that point, I don’t know if they are trying to avoid credit card fees or just avoid paying taxes to the government but avoid this place! There are better places to eat anywhere else by...
Read moreFirst time for me in Rome with my son. We ordered a Greek salad and a pasta as main course, water and two glasses of wine. The waiter asked why not starter and why not a bottle of wine and made fun of it... He was very rude and we felt very uncomfortable, almost guilty we didn't want to order more... Then l wanted to pay and had to come inside as l wanted to pay by card. The waiter said tax wasnt included, so l had to pay this extra. We ordered glass of wine for 8 euro on the menu, they charged us 12 euro without taxes. So l asked polite why l had to pay 12 euro and he laughed and said it was pinot gris. He then shouted at another waiter something in Italian about my complaint and they made fun of me, laughed very rude in my face... I said l wasn't happy they were making fun of me... So l paid 59 euro for a salad, a pasta, water and two glasses of wine... Total ripp of. But l felt more bad about the behaviour of those waiters. And went to hotel with a very bad feeling, l will never recommend this restaurant to friends and family who often visit such a beautiful city...
