Tried this place twice. Both times we had a terrible experience due to incredibly unprofessional service. The cannolis are great, but not worth the humiliation. They have serious trouble with a xenophobic, disrespectful, unprofessional, and lazy waitress who wears glasses and blonde hair. She hates tourists, and makes sure you know it - at least she hates foreigners, that’s confirmed, she said that “she couldn’t stand all these tourists”, as a nice Italian lady translated for us. She is certainly unhappy with her life and her employer, and she is allowed by the manager (apparently) to disperse her frustrations and sadness on the clients. We saw with a couple of Americans on queue in front of us, and then again with us. She makes sure to speak Italian very quick and without any effort to accommodate foreigners, attempting to make them feel awkward and uncomfortable. When you politely ask her what she means, she rolls her eyes and complains and walks away. A horrible feeling. I hope more tourists read these reviews here, because they MUST...
Read moreVery rude agressive waitress…( There were no people, we wanted to sit at the table for four people, because it is more convenient. The waitress said that it is impossible, she was irritated on us, trying to spread the tables :-) I am in shock of the service. Then she just left…. Horrible.
We went to the manager, she said “I am sorry, but this is how it is in Italy”. Really?.. there were other two people at the table for four.. the manager said that this is mother of the boss :-))) Do you think that treat guests like that is polite? Usually the personnel should do everything for the guests. And by the way, the waitress who reject to serve made a very bad looking irritating face. I cannot understand why you don’t train your manager and waiters… it is obligatory for good place as you pretend. I want this message to go to the director of this place. The guests are the ones who bring you money! They should be treated like guests ))))
The kitchen might be great! But how the people can spoil the impression. Nothing was done to alleviate...
Read moreDo not trust the prices in this place. They dísclose a price list. Then, if you order food to the table, they charged you a extra amount, which may vary from 30 cents to fifty cents and even one euro more. In other words, a small sweet of 1 euro, is charged at 1,50 just to eat it there!!...SO FIFTY PERCENT MORE JUST TO EAT IT THERE. COME ON GUYS!!! On top of this, I must metion that the cashier was quite so rude to me. She pretended to explain me how this type of charges are done in the USA. Also, she was surprised because I spoke in spanish first, and then in English. She insisted why did I spoke in spanish at first place, because she could explained me all the price list in english better.?! It is not a polite way to treat tourists. I am from Spain, and lived in the USA +20 years. She coul be more humble and not pretending to explain how things are done in my home country. She should take better reactions in front...
