We stopped in while visiting the area and staying at an AirBnB. Perfect place for your grocery needs. The staff that we encountered were nice and spoke enough English that we could get by. We were able to get some basic things for small meals at the AirBnB and snacks. They have a great selection and the prices are great for what you are getting. They also have some basic toiletries if you need to replenish that as well. We got in a little late and they were open so we could get what we needed. Fairly standard selection of groceries, with a fantastic 24-hour meat and olives counter (+ other Mediterranean foods) and a good-looking fish counter. Only issue is that alcohol is not sold past 10 PM; caught us off-guard on the first night since it is only mentioned on signs near the self-checkout and the staff couldn't explain it all that well.

Edit: Star subtracted for shocking incompetence regarding checkout process (mid-afternoon). None of the staffed checkouts were open (despite staff sitting there twiddling their thumbs), self-service checkouts required cards. When we wanted to pay in cash all we got was...

I had a very bad experience at this store. I came back to the cashier before 10:00pm to buy a bottle of wine, but they refused the sale, which I accepted. However, an older man came to me and spoke in a very rude way, even saying I should go to the police. His attitude was completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

When I asked for the manager, she could not communicate in English, so I could not explain my complaint. Staff here need proper training in customer care and how to speak respectfully...
