Overall experience was good, the interior is eye pleasing, very modern, very subtle to look at, at first one will think it's expensive to dine there but it's actually very affordable. As per food, very good, since it's an all-you-can-eat place some similar restaurants will overwhelm you with their serving/portions which will easily make you full and at times will not be able to try out other food choices but in Yo' Fusion they will serve you with smaller portions so you won't get too overwhelmed with the quantity, and less chances of food waste. Their kitchen is somewhat visible, which is a plus point for me because by that you'll be able to see how their menus are cooked and won't doubt if their food is clean. As per the staffs, they are very welcoming, very quick and very accomodating regardless of what nationality you are, they are multilingual so people like me who doesn't speak Italian that much can converse with them comfortably. Their lavatory is clean, the only downside I've noticed is that the mirror was a bit too high, short girls like me will have to tippy toe to see ourselves, but it's just a really minor issue. Read moreWe went here for an early supper, and my son's birthday- he loves Sushi... first, the food is pretty good, and served quickly once you order. We had salmon-rice cakes, dumplings, tempura and other standards. No real complaints, it was certainly well presented and tasted fresh. The greeting was pretty cold at the front, and there was really no significant interaction with the staff. They did offer drinks/ water. Ordering was via an iPad mounted at the end of the table. It's not possible to navigate or view the menu from the other end, making ordering painfully tedious and inefficient. We ended up ordering 2 items by accident. The prices were reasonable. I gave the food 4 stars, but it's more like 3.5 really.
What was truly terrible was the awful music blasting throughout. It was North American autotuned techno-rap/dance junk that was obnoxious, loud and clashed terribly with Asian cuisine interior vibe. It really made us all want to leave as soon as we could, including our teenaged kids. We skipped dessert because of this. It essentially ruined the meal.
I'd suggest another place for sushi if there are other alternatives in Rome ( I'm...
Read moreI’ve been here again, now, after a year, and this used to be my favorite sushi restaurant. Now the quality of the food went way down, the portions got smaller, the slices thiner, the dishes reduced to the minimum. The waiter forgot to bring our pad Thai and we had to request it multiple times, because they gave it to the wrong table. We waited more than an hour to finally have that pad Thai… The place looks very nice, and even though there are many waiters seems like they are not enough. They didn’t get the empty dishes from the table regularly, as they do at other all you can eat places, got it got crowded fast and was hard to eat, we were 5 people, and no, it was not a busy night, it was 28 dec, almost empty. Anyway, I didn’t enjoy the food, it used to be sooo goood, they did an amazing sushi but now… the quality went way down. And the price...
