Our first use of The Fork app made our dining experience at Anima e Cornicione even more enjoyable with a generous 20% off the food. Prices were fair regardless and the quality was top-notch. The croquette was tasty, though a pinch of salt would have elevated it further. But let me tell you, the pizzas were outstanding! I highly recommend trying the Buffalina, Diavola, and Capricciosa – the best ingredients in every bite. You could really taste the San Marzano tomatoes which were so beautiful.

For something more indulgent, go for the fried Ricotta and Salami Calzone; it's like a gourmet version of a Findus Crispy Pancake to you 80s kids from the UK! 😊 Satisfyingly heavy and filling, yet the pizzas were surprisingly light and impeccably done.

The restaurant itself is a small, clean gem filled with Italian customers. It can only accommodate around 20 people, so booking ahead is wise. The setup is unique – you get to observe the chefs and kitchen upon entry, and then you're seated in the cozy dining area. While the server may not speak English fluently, communication was smooth, and the menu provided via a QR code in English made the ordering process effortless.

The pizza was ok but not as good as I expected, we ordered a vegetarian pizza and found a piece of sausage in it. We didn't complain about it or asked for compensation in any way I just showed the waitress when we were leaving and she asked if everything was good. They didn't even bother to say sorry, she just left the check on our table and we didn't know if we would pay at the table or go down to the cash. We figured out that we had to go to the cash and pay. The service was not the best obviously...

The pizza is excellent. For starters, we had frittatina and anacione, which were decent, but the pizza was excellent and very filling. My girlfriend and I could not finish our pizzas, but we brought them home to have for breakfast the next day. And the prices are great; you can have pizza and beer for less than 10 euros.
