My husband David & I have just enjoyed a lovely meal featuring fish dishes we have never eaten before. Right by the marina this is a perfectly situated restaurant with seating outside to enjoy the views. We had antipasti and chose the calamari with onions, and the courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta deep fried with a deep fried prawn. Both didn't last long as they were so tasty. For the main meal we both had the Tuna, onion & pecorino pasta. Using onions is a local specialty and the first time we had seen this. Lovely! I did take a photo but we had eaten most of it before I remembered! I do try to take photos before eating so that I can share them on reviews. We had dessert of another local specialty. I can't remember what it was called but it was a lemon mousse cake that was so light. Beautiful! David had the chocolate fondant which was perfect too. Her wine recommendation was spot on too as we did not want anything dry. We cannot thank Senora Anna enough for her patience, and her help talking us through the menu using a phone app. It made it very easy to discuss allergies (mussels, clams, crab) and understand what was on the menu that David could eat. She never made us feel bad for not being able to speak Italian, and we loved every moment spent here and in her company. If we are ever in the area again we will return and highly recommend others to...
Read moreQuite short menu and the food is not more then average with small portions for not gourmet food, if the lemon dessert wasn‘t good the experience would be terrible. We ordered fiano wine DOCG, they brought us some regular fiano wine, not even DOC, we ordered starter it never came, I had to ask for wine cooler, the waiter doesn‘t brought first glass for wine for my wife, as probably he wasn‘t used women to drink alcohol in his country. Although I speak 4 languages and my daughter another one, we had to write in google translate in our phones, as they do speak only Italian. An experience that can be avoided. I don‘t know how this restaurant...
Read moreI was recommended this restaurant by my AirBnB host and it was EXCELLENT. I dined among locals on a floating platform in the marina with fish jumping in the water nearby. I speak very little Italian, but I was welcomed graciously and my lovely server, Anna, used a translation app to guide me through the menu. I enjoyed the linguine with lobster and the tartare tuna rossa with pink peppercorns (highly recommend). Dessert was a simple, but exquisitely prepared Capri cake with lemon sorbet. The food and atmosphere were both excellent, but the kindness of Anna and the rest of the staff made me feel like I was dining...
