I went back there for a second time on the same day. Frankly speaking, their fried small octopus was good. Other than that, decent. I knew Coperto Con is a normal thing in Italy but for my 2 year old daughter to get charged, I was flabbergasted! I thought they charged 3 person in the afternoon because they gave her some long biscuit. During our whole 5 days here, none of the restaurants charged my daughter. I asked Antonio if he really charged us correctly but he justified it for his washing cost. I could understand he needs to make money but not screwing his customers. During lunch time, there were 4 tables including us. 7 tables during dinner. This happened Saturday (18/5). Antonio should reflect why this has happened. As a matter of principle, I still don't think fair for a 2 year old kid to be charged for nothing . 1 star for the food. 0 for the service and greediness.
In reply to Antonio, I checked with my landlady this morning, she never heard of anyone who charged a toddler for Coperto Con. Maybe you just screwed tourists. Apparently she knows you as well so she can speak to you when she sees you. Well, no lie on your food. I complimented your fried octopus. The rest were decent and not better than other restaurants I tried. If I know you really mean to squeeze every penny on tourists, I wouldn't...
Read moreWe went there last night as the restaurant was recommended to us. We had a beautiful meal. Sorry, but we forgot to take a photo of each course. We had starters with a main & side dish. Not wine drinkers so I can't comment on their selection. We were not up to pudding unfortunately this time. The menu is a seafood lovers paradise! I could have eaten most of it but my husband has a mollusc allergy so mussels & clams are out. He opted for the mixed starter which had anchovy balls, cod in milk, fish parmigiana and something else. I chose the squid. All gorgeous. For the main I had the small octopus with tomato sauce and my husband had the swordfish steak. Both so tasty. I have never had such well cooked squid and octopus before at a restaurant. So soft and tender. We would absolutely recommend that if you are in the area you pop by and try it. You will not be...

We had lunch in Salerno before hitting the Luci d’Artista. We reserved a table and asked for indication for where to park (public park 50 meters from the restaurant).
When we arrived we found a great welcoming, with helpful staff. The owner explain us the menu and help my friend navigate the gluten free options (all main dishes can be gluten free!). A bit less options for vegetarian and vegan, hence I went for seafood.
The starters were great, super fresh fish and seafood, we particularly loved the cod-parmigiana. The mains were so tasty! Respecting the traditions, but also with some original takes, like the octopus ragù.
Nice choices of wine - we went for in house Fiano - and homemade desserts.
We left extremely satisfied and we already suggested to our...
