Excellent restaurant - friendly staff, terrific food, at reasonable prices. I can in particular recommend the local chianina beef - take it in medium-rare, it melts in your mouth. Best wine pairing (in my opinion) is the Vino Nobile de Montepulciano, at a very good 24 Euros per bottle (which works as least as well as the Argentinian malbecs I would usually consider otherwise). La prima impressione si dice che sia importante e veritiera. Beh già all'ingresso e quindi all'accoglienza si ha la netta sensazione di entrare in un locale elegante, di classe. Il personale è attento ad ogni minimo dettaglio a partire dall'accompagnamento al tavolo, all'ordinazione e prosegue così per tutto il servizio. Stessa cura è dedicata al menù che bene spiega come tutte le portate siano preparate con ingredienti bio. Idem per la carta dei vini, oltretutto ampia e variegata ma anche attenta alle etichette locali. Il locale stesso si presenta molto bene. Luminoso, elegantemente arredato, ben inglobato nello storico palazzo. I piatti: cucina tipica con ingredienti di altissimo livello. Alcuni piatti strepitosi sia nella qualità che nella presentazione. Altri più "normali" sempre considerando che qui la normalità è ad ul livello piuttosto alto. Personalmente ho trovato la selezione di formaggi di Montemercole molto interessante. I bringoli ottimi e le spighette deliziose. La tagliata molto tenera ed i filetti strepitosi. Awesome atmosphere, nice location. 10+ for the service. Meal was good, loved find old stile pasta and beans cooking jar. Good dessert, definitely a mistake fry artichokes on evo oil, since they'll becomes tasteless and bitter (overpriced too); ragu could be better.
