We came here per our concierge’s recommendation and were quite disappointed. When one is in Italy, one expects a few things to be done properly: well cooked pasta, not stale bread, decent wine. Unfortunately, they hit the trifecta - and by that it was 0/3. Not only was it horribly overpriced for subpar food, but the pasta was clearly over cooked from a box (clams were over cooked and shattered on top of said pasta), bread was horribly stale and IN A WRAPPER (picture attached for your viewing pleasure), and the wine that was suggested was garbage (like New Jersey winery status). Don’t do what we did. Go anywhere else. Drink SEA WATER (you’ll save money that way).

Delicious seafood dishes! Spaghetti and clams, in pesto to start, then grilled prawns, finished off with apple cake with ice cream. Really fresh and delusions. Also got the truffle cream pasta which was fantastic! The table bread isn’t great - dry and had been out for while, but you’re not there for table bread. Feed that to the ducks, enjoy their quacks and and enjoy your seafood dishes!

We made a stop in Liguria for lunch after a long drive. Every place seemed like a touriste place in Liguria. So, we picked Skipper on the spot because of the beautiful view. To our surprise, the food was really good. I ordered seafood spaghetti. It was delicious and al dente. Very relaxing lunch on the barge with the emerald green water, ducks and fish. Great time. August 2020.

Spent a week in Southern France with disappointing food and the first meal we had in Italy was this - AMAZING! Literally everything was sooooo good. Best meal we have had yet. And the amount of mussels you get for 20 Euro is unreal. Then the spaghetti and truffle gnocchi was out of this world. Still dreaming of it!

Edit: came back a week later just to get the seafood spaghetti & truffle gnocchi and it was JUST AS GOOD as remembered and we even got another...
